The evidence suggests that the Obama administration has not simply been engaging, legitimating, enriching and emboldening Islamists who have taken over or are ascendant in much of the Middle East. Starting in March 2011, when American diplomat J. Christopher Stevens was designated the liaison to the “opposition” in Libya, the Obama administration has been arming them, including jihadists like Abdelhakim Belhadj, leader of the al Qaeda franchise known as the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group.

It gets worse. Last week, Center for Security Policy senior fellow and former career CIA officer Clare Lopez observed that there were two large warehouse-type buildings associated with the so-called “consulate” whose purpose has yet to be disclosed. As their contents were raided in the course of the attack, we may never know for sure whether they housed — and were known by the local jihadis to house — arms, perhaps administered by the two former Navy SEALs killed along with Stevens.

For now, I don't believe it. Until I see it in mainstream, nothing will convince me that this is anything other than Oscar Mayer's favorite meat.

This election is ugly. And I'm betting it gets uglier still before it's over.

That is one big IF. The thing is, most of what the GOP and Fox news tries to accuse Obama of is made up.

So really the guy who wrote this article has no solid evidence except what partisans are giving him, in the past he's been quite the zealot against muslims, opposing the ground zero mosque and even the Murfreesboro, Tennessee where he testified in court against it being allowed to be built by American citizens of the country despite the first amendment.

I'm not sure I'd blindly follow this guy story.

But I must say that this accusation is - well - preposterous. That's not a word I get to use very often. So Thanks.

I'm pretty perplexed by American politics and the lows to which its fallen but, really, now this has crossed the borders of bizarre.

What got me was the phrase intrepis investigative reporting. I use that type phrase with reporters on the frontlines risking their lives to bring us the story, and for those who paid with their lives.

What's the point, exactly, of this cover up? Why would they cover up the point that this was a terrorist attack?
