He Knew [W:610]

Only facts matter.

We are both familiar with ol' Saul and his encouragement of Leftists to “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it”.

We have seen that happening continuously against political opponents since Alinsky's influence began and his adherents, such as "Community Organizer" Barack Obama, followed his advice very well, though occasionally letting his guard slip.

If anyone really accepted your misinterpretation, they would know republicans use such tactics as much or more than anyone. But that would require honesty. :coffeepap

Wow! Even more Alinsky!

You must have memorized every page!

you do follow the news?... why did Obama go to the UN nad not say it was terrorism but he blamed a fake video tape, to coverup his blunder ...

Obama is FINISHED...time to send in the clowns...

Sorry, Obama beat you to it.

I guess that's the best you can do. Some just need an excuse for their own ignorance.

The attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi has become a political football in the presidential campaign, with all the grandstanding and misinformation that entails. But Fox News has raised some questions about the attack that deserve a clearer answer from the Obama administration.

Fox’s Jennifer Griffin reported Friday that CIA officers in Benghazi had been told to “stand down” when they wanted to deploy from their base at the annex to repel the attack on the consulate, about a mile away. Fox also reported that the CIA officers requested military support when the annex came under fire later that night but that their request had been denied.

So what did happen in Benghazi on the night of Sept. 11, when Woods, Ambassador Christopher Stevens and two others Americans were killed? The best way to establish the facts would be a detailed, unclassified timeline of events; officials say they are preparing one, and that it may be released later this week. That’s a must, even in the volatile final week of the campaign.

He knew?

Damn, I thought this was about curveball

Knowing 3 weeks before he invaded, that their intel was lying to them, knowing then for a fact there was no WMD in Iraq, but they invaded anyway thus are war criminals and guilty of murder, darn, hoped you were talking about that

No, its actually about Benghazi. There's probably another thread somewhere about Iraq.

Why not check the facts before you respond?

They took responsibility shortly after the attack and then denied it the next day.

E-mails: White House knew of extremist claims in Benghazi attack - CNN.com

Why not check the facts yourself? See, this is EXACTLY why the administration doesn't rush out and give a press conference every time some unconfirmed tidbit of information comes in, and it's EXACTLY why we should wait until the investigation has ended to draw conclusions.

The e-mail carried the subject line: “Update 2: Ansar al Sharia Claims Responsibility For Benghazi Attack.” The message said: “Embassy Tripoli reports the group has claimed responsibility on Facebook and Twitter and has called for an attack on Embassy Tripoli.”

[snip]

Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, and two other Republicans in the Senate wrote Wednesday to Obama, saying: “These emails make clear that your Administration knew within two hours of the attack that it was a terrorist act and that Ansar al-Sharia, a Libyan militant group with links to Al-Qaeda, had claimed responsibility for it.”

However, an examination of the known Facebook and Twitter accounts of Ansar al-Sharia in Benghazi reveals no such claim of responsibility. Aaron Zelin, a research fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, tracks dozens of jihadist websites and archives much of what they say. He told CNN he was unaware of any such claim having been posted on the official Facebook page or Twitter feed of Ansar al-Sharia in Benghazi.

Zelin, who said his RSS feed sends him any new statement from the group, provided CNN with a copy of that feed. It shows no Facebook update between September 8 and September 12, when a posting late that afternoon first referenced the attack. Zelin notes that the posting referred to a news conference the group had held earlier that day in Benghazi in which it denied any role in the assault on the consulate, while sympathizing with the attackers.

In fact I did check the facts and am looking for more.

If you're not interested in facts, what is your interest?

Hi everyone. I want to give you the perspective of someone who isn't a full time politics junkie. This scandal and the ensuing cover-up by the Obama Administration is reason enough to throw him out. It's disgusting beyond words. It was enough to bring me back here and post about it after not being around for months.
