Bayonet Co tells Obama he needs" get educated"

did Mitt say there cant be both...LOL...

Obama is a crass desperate moron.. enjoy the Kenyan Disaster for another 2 weeks...

Your posts are simple Obama jibberish.. too bad for the Obamabots

You tell that to a Marine.. that his bayonet is not needed.. go ahead...If a marine is reaching for his bayonet no tank or anything else is going to save them..

if your post had a shred or dignity or fact, then why do they still have one strapped to them?

really, you are grasping at straws, just like Mittens was with his less battleships line. The US navy is bar far and wide the best in the world. You might get somewhere with saying the army is perhaps vulnerable due to it's size vs China. But not the navy. Especially considering the marines are technically part of the Navy. Back in high school I was a part of the NJROTC and believe me the navy is it's own force. It comes with things like Seals, seebees, it's own aircraft, a wide array of ships for every circumstance, subs for underwater domination, Surface to air missiles, cannons that can shoot ordinance for miles inland, and it is pretty much overwhelmingly superior to any naval force in the world.

To claim that this force is now unprepared because it has less of a specific ship that has a limited capacity compared to the rest of the navy's arsenal is just absurd and shows mittens complete lack of military knowledge which makes him an extremely poor choice for commander in chief. If you want to claim that mittens has valuable business knowledge that might help the US, that is unsubstantiated given mittens poor economic plans, but it is his strong point. that might make him a choice for a position as an advisor on economic issues, but it certainly does not make him a good candidate for president where he would certainly need knowledge of US military capacities and many other issues mittens is completely lacking and downright wrong on. You show yourself as an uneducated voter who cannot determine a complete mistake on the part of your candidate. there is no excusing the absulute incorrectness of mittens comment on battleships. Obama was completely correct to talk to him like an uneducated child and explain small but obvious things like aircraft carriers and submarines, and to compare his comments to using outdated tools like bayonettes and horses. The military still has horses also, but they are pretty much for show in marches and special occasions like the military dress uniform. I am sure Mittens thinks that horses are important as dressage actually came from old military horse training and riding used for show, and mittens loves his dancing horsies. Still, you would not use bayonettes and horses in modern combat situations. maybe they might be a great ammo saving technique for cleaning up stray zombies in a zombie invasion, and perhaps mittens is thinking opf being prepared for the zombie apocolypse. Still, i would have to say my new trusty machety with it pointy spike and saw blade on the backside is far more versatile a weapon for cutting zombies up, and far less expensive to issue to soldiers.

Anyway, you should stick top the economy with mittens, as his complete lack of foreign policy and diplomacy is completely obvious at this point. there is a reason he ook obama's stances and tried to bring things back around to his least failing topic. take his hint and just drop this. it is just not going to do you much good at all.

This is the piece of evidence I needed not to vote Democrat.

That ain't just it buddy... wait until Trump makes his major tweet, you'll become a GOP lifer.

This is right up there with clapping, baloney, binders, big bird, etc.....definately a game changer....hahaha

Yes, well ... as you all know, I've been a strong supporter of President Obama, but this.... Travis, with his inciteful bayonet commentary has turned the tide. I cannot support a candidate who disrespects a long, thin piece of steel. It's just TOO MUCH!!

I think it's funny how the Commander In Chief likened our modern naval force with antiquated weapons and cavalry. Romney said there aren't enough ships to meet tasking, that there are less since Obama took over, and Obama countered with "there are less horses and bayonets now, too."

It's ridiculous that a line basically trashing our greatest asset for projecting force around the globe (aircraft carrier group = mobile sovereign soil) is laughed off as outdated and unnecessary. Every time this meme gets repeated, it just proves how out of touch the Obamabots are with reality.

Interesting fact: the domain "horsesandbayonets.com" was registered within 60 seconds of the comment. GO 'MURICA

Did they make any mention of how many bayonets are used these days as it relates to past wars and practices?

I don't think the navy Uses many bayonettes at all. Even the seals tend to use guns that are smaller and more versatile than the old rifles. I think many of the rifles that used bayonettes as a common weapon are now part of the dress show uniform and are used more in parades and events rather than in combat. The marines and seals are probably going to get a lot more use out of knives and machety type toold than any bayonette.

Oh, and your avi is cool, but i think the red headed firebrand is going to be much cooler when she gets her eyepatch in the third movie. misato is still cooler, but asuka really saved the original series.

Wow, really? You really didn't understand Obama's analogy? Please join Paul Ryan in the corner.

Oh wait,,,, Obama just showed us his empty binder of new ideas... Obama is finished..

sure...... You may want to stick with "Hope and Change" chanting....because your "faux" knowledge on this is pretty mind numbing.,..

I think its funny you went to TMZ to "bash" on Obama, when clearly Obama made Romney look like a fool.
But lets see what statement Obama was making Romney look like a fool on: "Our Navy is smaller than it's been since 1917. Our Air Force is smaller and older than any time since 1947." Do you know what this is called? A blatant lie. This is what Romney and the Romney campaign is good at, they are good at making **** up and lying. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...omney-says-us-navy-smallest-1917-air-force-s/

I'm not sure exactly what she meant but I think it might be the irony in posts like this? dunno.

It means Obama is a scumbag... a dumb marxist loser....an empty skidmark..

Thats where your little blog thing got the story from...
But thanks for proving you dont care about facts still...

Last night Barack Obama mocked the use of horses and bayonets in the military.
Today Bayonet Inc. told Obama to “get educated.”
TMZ reported:

TMZ spoke with multiple people in the bayonet industry who tell us they were shocked and even offended when Obama brought up the weapon during last night’s debate.

According to the official U.S. Marine Corps website, every Marine is STILL required to complete a bayonet training program … because “the weapon becomes just as effective [as a rifle] in close combat situations.”

We spoke with Dan Riker from Bayonet Inc. — a leading military surplus outlet that specializes in bayonets — who tells us he believes Obama’s comment was “ignorant … because our soldiers still use bayonets.”

He adds, “[Bayonets] are still distributed to the military all the time — he should get educated on it.”

These people must be just plain stupid then. Obama said we use less bayonets today than we used to because of technology and what not. That is true. These people just want to be butt hurt.

whats not fact?...show me!? your posts are total tripe

I tell you what travis, you can have bayonettes, and I will take drones, hummers, tanks, howitzers, missiles, long range snipers, assault rifles, supersonic jets, napalm, muclear warheads, sattelite recon, and every other major advancement after ww2. Let us see who wins. Yeah, bayonettes are4 a real important part of modern combat. Sure the modern soldier is taught and given tools for modern hand to hand combat, but when things get to that point something has gone horribly wrong.

it is good to know you have the same combat awareness and knowledge as mittens the kitten Obama/romney. If he gets elected and gets the 6 wars he wants i hope you are the first in his draft and enjoy the bayonette he gives you to fight iran's army.

That's mighty aggressive for the side that usually despises war. I don't remember Bush getting this kind of support throughout his presidency. All the bitching about defense contractors making a killing off the wars, and now suddenly they okay (i.e., nukes, satellites, tanks, etc.). How many times did we hear about the military-industrial complex?

Know what we will be using less?.. LESS OBAMA...again it was the context of his remarks.. that Mitt was " an old man out of touch.."... it was a loser line that will sink Obama..Oh Libs.. how you dont see the reality...

too bad Obama is so ****ing stupid that "subs are boats" NOT ships "that go under water...

whats underwater is the SS Obama...its taking on water..

List of aircraft carriers of the United States Navy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

We currently have 11 Aircraft Carrier Strike groups. In 8 years under Bush, we built one Nimitz class carrier (The Ronald Reagan). Under Obama, we have one Nimitz class carrier (The George HW Bush) and we're currently building a brand new class of ship (The Gerald R Ford) with plans to build the John F Kennedy and a yet to be named carrier.

Wow, really? You really didn't understand Obama's analogy? Please join Paul Ryan in the corner.

I understood it as a zinger, which it most definitely was. I was heavily engaged in a tweet war with a few close friends during the debate, and I chalked that one up as a point for Obama on the sheer hilarity. But actually dissect the comment - the comment was directed at the amount of iron we have in the waters of the world, to which Obama replied "we have less horses and bayonets." So, the entire navy is an antiquated, outdated concept?

It seems as though Obama's fan base is quite enthralled with the fact that Obama doesn't really know the value of combat hardware.

It's not that I, and others like me, don't understand Obama's analogy... it's more like Obama and his groupies don't understand what he's really saying about the worth of a naval force. Horses and bayonets, indeed.

So what you're saying is that Obama was right and we actually do use less bayonets and horses? Thanks for clearing that up.

Nice entry but too bad Travis, I already have your November prediction quote spot in my sig already taken up.

It means Obama is a scumbag... a dumb marxist loser....an empty skidmark..

Stay tuned folks. We'll be right back to "When Content Fails" right after these messages.

Turns out the military uses more bayonets now than they did in 1916

Another Obama fail. Man after getting destroyed by Romney last night and now getting destroyed by fact checkers, Odumbo is looking mighty weak, small, petty, and incompetent right now.

Couldn't happen at a better time
