I've never gotten why people don't care about their credibility. I guess its more about giving people hope in the moment over being honest.

Here's the deal. It will be a close race in the popular vote. There's an unlikely but possible chance Romney will win the popular vote considering the ability to get to the polls by people in solid blue states like New York, New Jersey and to some extent Pennsylvania due to Sandy but Obama will win states. Obama wins the EC and will be reelected.

You will be surprised!!

My prediction is OBAMA 276 ROMNEY 262

Obama wins what he won in 2008 minus Romney gains in Florida, New Hampshire, Indiana, Virginia, North Carolina and New Mexico.

New Mexico? Can see some of the others but New Mexico?

New Mexico is going through an oilfield boom right now. Earlier this year, the government tried to shut them down because of a damn lizard.

The EPA shut down a coal fired power plant in New Mexico. Lot's of jobs lost.

I can see Obama loosing New Mexico, altogether.

The polls in the state would disagree with you. Even Rasmussen has Obama up by 11... hell there is a bigger chance Arizona flips to Obama than New Mexico going the other way.

You put too much stock in the polls.

Nevada is a tough one to call... it's always kinda tough

big union state.. so Obama gets a jump
big Mormon state.. so Romney gets a jump
hit extraordinarily hard by the economy, and is really really slow in recovery.. I think Romney gets a jump there, but who knows.

Obama has visited quite a bit, so all that special attention tells me he's afraid of losing it.

Nevada is a big mormon state? don't think so....

it's 2nd to Utah in Mormon population.

I do not know if it is still in effect, but once there was a time when Mormons were considered as the ideal casino employees as they shared none of the vices of the customer base.
