A friend just e-mailed me this link to a WND exclusive (yes, yes, consider the source) whose lead is "Obama cuts deal with Iran over nukes," adding the comment that Dick Morris predicted this.

He adds, "I am sure it will be announced before Monday’s foreign policy debate. It will help HCH BO there, but he will still have to deal with his Benghazi lie. I’m not sure how much this phony deal will boost HCH BO’s reelection chances, since most of the American people are focused on domestic issues."

Not sure what "HCH BO" means. Any ideas? Has anybody heard any independent confirmation of this "exclusive"?

Come on, man. WND. Full stop.

In you eagerness to respond, I guess you skipped past my disclaimer.

Hannity is supposed to take another swing at an October Surprise tomorrow night. If I took it correctly, they have documents about the security request for Benghazi that was made by the State Department and denied and possibly something related to the video of the attack though they did not say they have the video. I am sure it will be as <yawn> exciting as the Rev. Wright video.

If it's true, it might explain Obama's uncharacteristically poor performance(s) in the debates. That news would seal the deal. Four more years.

Not necessarily. A similar deal during the Clinton administration led to a nuclear North Korea. Any such agreement would require months to finalize and implement. And if it was to magically appear weeks or days prior to the election I think it would be met with skepticism by the majority of American voters. Although I think the Obama camp is getting desperate and you never know what they might pull.

Hopefully, most people realize that a deal with Iran isn't worth a crap.

World Net Daily, yeah....... /thread.

Announcing a secret deal with Iran would be the end of the Obama campaign, not its salvation.

I wouldn't doubt if Obama tells us he turned back an invasion from Mars.

So in other words, you think WND made what it's calling an "exclusive" up?

I'm saying they are as trustworthy as a meth head laying comatose on the side of the street.

So it ranks right up there with "The Nation", "Mother Jones", "Daily Kos", "Talking Points Memo", "Little Green Footballs", "Firedoglake", "ThinkProgress", etc., etc.

Correct. Every faction has their "credible" sites. LOL.

Really really false equivalence there. Alex Jones, WND & Dick Morris are not in the realm of facts whatsoever. It's in the realm of say anything for a paycheck conspiracy insanity.

Dick Morris? Is that guy still on TV?

Hard to believe anyone pays attention to anything he says. Has he ever been right about anything? I still remember his shrewd analysis of the '08 campaign when he had two great declarations that McCain on won the election: 1) right after he nominated Sarah and 2) as McCain suspended his campaign to return to Washington to fix the budget. Turned out they were not only far from McCains big shrewd moves; they were the two biggest blunders of the McCain campaign. The guy is an idiot. If Fox paid him minimum wage, they are overpaying him.

Americans who watched the second presidential debate say Barack Obama did a better job than Mitt Romney, by 51% to 38% -- a stark contrast to the first debate, of which most named Romney the winner.

Yeah, says you. I have as high a regard for WND as I have for any of the liberal outfits I listed. Which is to say not much regard.

So I guess we will all have to wait and see. But as a reminder, even a stopped clock is correct twice a day. Just this once, WND may have called it. We shall see.
