There was another thread recently in which the OP just tossed out a link without making any comment. I'll give you my remarks to that poster in the hopes it'll help you conform to forum conventions.

You're not addressing Ryan's / Romney's lies. That is the content of this discussion. Biden found the recipe for dealing with snake oil salesmen. You treat them the way you'd treat one at your door. You mock them, you laugh in their face, you destroy their arguments with facts, you disrespect them, you pull no punches.

That is what the American people want and that is what they got.

Not a new way, the best way. For too long Democrats have been polite, they've listened to garbage and given a thoughtful reply in return. Its a waste of time. When you treat garbage with respect you legitimize it. When you treat it how it should be treated it turns heads and pushes the issue to the forefront.

The fact checkers differ from the OP:

Fact check: A 2nd look at Biden and Ryan claims

Biden: 9 lies/misleads/half-truths and 1 factual
Ryan: 3 lies/misleads/half-truths and 2 factual

Keep in mind that Ryan's not so truthful statements included a misquote (Hillary rather than Obama) and a timeline (one week rather than two). While Biden's not so truthful statements included a complete re-characterization of Romney's opinion on the auto industry and Bin Laden, blind assumptions regarding budget cuts, and a flat out lie about Ryan's current Medicare reform plan. The difference is that Ryan mostly got some names and dates wrong, but the principle was correct while Biden got the names and dates right, but the principle was completely wrong.

I just read that entire thing! Biden's lies were more like a creative skewing than anything else. He made a reference to Ryan's OLD medicare reform plan, and just hyperbolic Romney statements. He didn't really flat out lie that frequently, he just used this thing called rhetoric. As it turns out, this is quite common in all of politics. But it would be too logical for you to look for rhetoric anywhere outside of the people you disagree with.

I will agree that Biden did a lot more finger pointing and flame tossing than Ryan did. Unfortunately, our system of politics kind of boils down to that. Again, can't really ding him for something everybody in the system does.

Now this is the most unbelievable comment I have ever heard from anyone. This verifies the state of denial and reverse logic that liberals use to conduct their political discourse.

What you described fits perfectly the exact opposite - it is the GOP that is invariably gentlemanly and the DEMs who pitch fits and rant and rave.

I would challenge you to produce ONE example of your assertion.

You would have to search HARD to find even ONE 'thoughtful' reply from a DEM in a campaign.

And the entire mission of Biden was to PREVENT Ryan from having the opportunity to present his TYPICAL thoughtful reply to EVERY question.

The GOP is the party of gentlemen, thoughtful replies, realistic plans, and adherence to the constitution.

The DEMs are the party of thuggery, bombastic rants, pie-in-the sky 'hope and change,' and seekers to circumvent plain constitutional governance.

This is undoubtedly the most obscenely false statement ever made as 'opinion.'

Certainly not new. The DEMs have used it as their staple political identification for as about as long as I can remember - And I can remember FDR (well, I remember when he died - that's all - I was 7 years old then).

I clearly remember when political discourse took the turn leading up to this dysfunctional state we have today - the administration of Lyndon Baines Johnson. LBJ made it OK for DEMs to show their butts and call it statesmanship. DEMs have devolved into the boorish thugs we have today from that point on.

Prior to LBJ there were thoughtful DEMs. As those died out, they were replaced by this "new" version - nothing but spoiled brats who think they are thinking when they are showing their butts.

DEMs today appeal to the very worst instincts of mankind - envy - fear - greed - 'might over right' - peevishness - irresponsibility.

Show your ignorance - vote DEM.

Yeah, like I'm going to cut the deficit in half in my first term. And while I'm at it I'm going to close Clubgetmo, and get us out of Afghanistan. And if you pass my trillion dollar stimulus now, unemployment will not go above 8%. You mean those kinda lies.

You’re right I’m ‘not addressing Ryan's / Romney's lies’. That would appear irrelevant to the title of the thread, title of the article linked in the OP and the premise of said article; that Biden had ‘invented a new way to debate liars’. Your initial assertion above is concerning ‘Ryan’s/Romney’s lies’ then you make three assertions about Biden’s ‘new invention’…My argument that you fail to acknowledge is that his ‘new invention’, his new recipe is to counter lies with lies…which is it you want to discuss Biden’s new tactic (lying) or ‘Ryan's / Romney's lies’? If the latter present ones you want to discuss (as I have Biden’s) and we can redirect this discussion.

BTW, your post above appears as you ‘whine and cry, stomp your feet and cry foul’ because I/we cannot read you mind as to the desired direction of the discussion.

Biden embarrassed himself, the dem party, and the USA in that debate. He lied about Libya, he lied about the economy, and he lied about Romney/Ryan.

Here, let me wake you up about a fact boy. Here is Kennedy calling for a tax cut that will eventually raise revenue. Sound familiar.....sound Republican? Biden lied his ****ing ass off about this, and even tried pulling that debate tactic when he asked Ryan if he thought he was John Kennedy. Know what Ryan said? Ryan said he was Kennedy more than Biden was, and it's true. Watch the video.

In case you don't know who John F Kennedy is (and I wouldn't be surprised), he's a god among Democrats.

The Romney/Ryan is a liar is a talking point that has been pushed every since Romney won the first debate.

There were numerous inaccuracies in Biden's "facts".

Biden calling Ryan a liar= pot calling the kettle black.
