Pollster says Obama cannot win three battleground states, pulls out

I know you are fearing your guy is going to lose, but it is a bit to early to call the election because some guy won't do polls in those states. Polling people are paid for their results, and I doubt they would just say those three states results are worth nothing. So before you spew your joygasm all over the place it is just another grandstand for the people like you who run around saying "we already won" because they know they get you all fired up.

Invest in tissues.... I sense tears coming for you... Unless they can manufacturer a lie that Mitt is directly related to Hitler.. or Obama can rig another jobs report...its OVER... Obama can go back to community agitating and folding Rev Al's laundry..

Honestly, I'm sick to death of polls. Seems like you can find one that will support anything you want to believe. The only poll that matters is the one on November 6.

I am not going to cry if Mitt wins. I know how to take care of myself, and I do just fine no matter who is in office. You are the one who is freaking out over the idea of Obama in office for another 4 years. As cruel as it sounds, if obama gets elected i am going to enjoy your cries of despair. Know that they will give me great joy when you come here and whine. I like it so much I am helping people in NC get registered and vote Obama.

Good grief, you've done noting but whine about all those racist Republicans since you got here. Lol.

The problem is not with polls, it is with people looking for polls to support their view instead of interpreting what polling actually says.

This is absurd. Obama was ahead in two of the three states as recently as last week and it's premature to say the least to conclude that Romney's post-debate bump will last. But I would say that North Carolina is looking pretty good for Romney.

Weren't you the one who was complaining how another polling organization was blatantly pro-Obama for pulling out of some states?

I didn't say I wasn't going to argue for the better solution. Not all of us are here because we think it is the end of the world like some people.

That's probably true a lot of the time for more neutral orgainzations but a lot of the time a poll supports the opinion of the pollster. There are a lot of ways to trick the data.

Really? Given your demonstrable hatred for the GOP, you expect us to believe you'd be just fine if one of those monsters is in the oval office? I don't buy it.

Word!

I'd like to see Romney win for a multitude of reasons. And to test the proposition that T could come on here in a normal fashion would be a cherry on top.

That seems like a pretty stupid decision unless this polling firm is really strapped for cash. Especially for Florida and Virginia. According to the RCP polling average, Florida is an exact tie right now and Obama actually has a 0.3% lead in Virginia. They hardly seem like slam-dunks for Romney. Romney is ahead by 3% in North Carolina according to the RCP polling average, and if Obama does manage to win NC it will probably be because he's already won the election in a landslide...so if you're going to stop polling a swing state that might be a good pick. But even a 3% lead is hardly a certainty.

Overall I would question the wisdom of not polling three crucial states where the polls have shown a very tight race. But maybe they just don't have the money to poll them anymore.

Ahhh, you are confused. I hate all the people in office. It is just that the republicans make sport out of being the most ignorant and despicable.

Nate Silver rates them thusly:

Chance of winning--

Florida: Romney 54% Obama 46%
Virginia: Obama 58% Romney 42%
North Carolina: Romney 80% Obama 20%

Well except that he's always in meltdown mode about the GOP anyway so he's probably right, we wouldn't notice much of a difference.

I conducted several polls on this. Some say you are right, some say you are wrong, and others say that you and Lindsay Lohan would make a fabulous celebrity couple.

Just throwing it out there, Nate Silver still has VA for Obama at 58% and FL or Romney at 54%. Neither really gimmies.

You mean like accusing the GOP of sexism then repeatedly referring to a women in that very same thread as "tits"?
