Another day, another flip flop by Mitt Romney

I fault him for purposely misleading voters. Why can't he just run on what he actually believes?

I have said in other threads that SLinky has no intention of putting anything in writing for two reasons the one stated above and because not doing it allows him to say whatever (in his mind) he wants with no paper trail to trip him

Moderate Mitt better disappear before the next debate. He barely moved far enough to the right to get me to consider voting for him. Picking Ryan helped alot.

If Mitt goes moderate in the next two debates, I'll go back to my original plan and vote LP.

If the man in the White House has an "R" next to his name, the next midterm elections will be won by the Democrats.

Moderate Mitt paired up with a liberal Democrat controlled Congress? No thanks.

Hopefully we can nominate a true conservative four years from now.

well I am voting for Romney for several issues including Obama's incompetence but mainly because Obama has never changed his class envy attacks on the industrious and Romney has never engaged in such idiocy

actually he was talking to people who were big contributors. he was telling them why they should support him with more money-and one of those reasons why was that about half the voters won't vote for Romney no matter what. was it a bit over the top-sure

but the clown who illegally recorded that ought to be someone's prison bitch

and Romney's comments are not nearly as hateful as Obunny claiming those of us in the top 2% don't pay our fair share and encouraging the net tax consumers to demand we pay even more

Ive been getting phone calls daily...all from republican and conservative organizations...sometimes 4 calls a day....today I got one a recording that says that Obama has put forth legislation to stop the sale of handguns...Total Lie....I got another phone call another recording that says dont believe Obamas lies Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are not going to touch Social Security or Medicare...thats a bold face lie...then I got two others today that didnt lie but just cheerleaded for mittsy and kid paulie...

Well. Please post up where he said otherwise. Just because you say it doesn't make it so. What he believes? That's different from his proposing some kind of limitation on a constitutional right. So. What are you talking about? Let's see if we can narrow down who's the fool.
 
What the "headline" read was that Romney won't "push" for abortion legislation. This doesn't necessarily mean anything other than that he won't push for abortion legislation. In any event, it's members of Congress who propose bills, not the President.

That said, if Romney is asked about his views, I hope he will be forthright on this topic, whether he "pushes" or not.

Hopefully you actually understand the difference, but if not, let us help you.

An evolving position is one that changes over TIME based on wisdom and knowledge. A flip flop is a form of spinelessness that plays to a particular audience in a particular circumstance, probably because you really have no belief about something. A lie is stating something you never believed and you were in touch with the fact that you did not believe it, but said it anyway.

If Romney trended from a moderate governor to a conservative POTUS candidate, he evolved. If Romney said one thing in the primaries and another in the general, he probably flip flopped. If Romney said one thing in the debate and another thing a week later, he probably lied.
