Nuh uh, silly....Everyone knows that when it rains that is George Bush's fault...
As long as you recognize who's fault it is. :2razz:
I must admit, good question, until I thought about it a bit...There are several reasons that the two are not the same...
1. The obvious reason is that it would be liberals wrongly categorizing TP'ers as racist, and not other TP'ers doing such to their own as it is in this case. Ms. Dash, came out in support of Romney, and was accused by liberals, and other blacks as being some sort of race traitor for such.
2. This is not the only case of Conservative, or Conservative supporting blacks being portrayed as such by liberals whom think that all black people should be liberal democrats period.
3. The slander against the TP as racist was revealed as such a joke due to either liberal infiltrators at events, or completely out of context things said that the two should be miles apart when held up next to each other....
I don't think there can be "infiltrators" to a public event. I thought the whole idea of the TP was "inclusive."
Besides which, if you read the tweets in the article you posted, they are mostly saying that it's a bad thing to attack her for it.
Sandra Fluke@SandraFluke
So disappointed to see people attacking @REALStaceyDash for voicing her opinion. Disagree politically, but #racist attacks are unacceptable.
Booker Rising@BookerRising
Actress @REALStaceyDash has endorsed Romney. Some black liberals are clowning her. Folks, this is USA & not USSR
Bobby Broadway@BobbyBroad
I may disagree with @REALStaceyDash decision on who she supports in presidential race. But no need to call her an indoor slave or a jiggaboo
If we accept that Sandra Fluke is THE Sandra Fluke, and that the others are Liberals, this is not widespread racially based condemnation of Ms. Dash.
Ok, I want to see how serious you are here...I will say this...In my OP I generalized when I shouldn't have. I did such not out of malice, but more in the zeal to get the story posted, and start the conversation, and could have worded it better. How about this...
Question: Stacy Dash tweeted that she supports Romney in the upcoming election. She was immediately attacked on Twitter, by other black democrats, and liberals as being a race traitor, and worse. Although this is not endemic of all liberal progressive democrats, it is a troubling response to 1st amendment speech in this country. Can anyone show me a response where say white voters that came out in favor of Barrack Obama were attacked openly with such vitriol by Conservative republican whites?
Is that better? eace
That's a much better wording. Liberals are no more perfect than Conservatives. Some of them are idiots, to be honest. Anybody who does not support Ms. Dash's right to her own opinion is one of them. Now I can't say that I've been called a "traitor to my race" for voting for Obama, but I have been accused of being a socialist and a Nazi by Conservatives (on this very site). Some of whom were probably white. That's equally stupid, IMO.
BTW, who is Stacey Dash, and why does anybody care who she's voting for?
