Big Bird does not support Obama either

So let me get this straight....not only did the Obama folks put out an absolutely ludicrous advertisement but in the process they have managed to get millions of children nationwide to ask mommy why Obama things Big Bird is evil?

Oh yeah, this one has to go on the fridge for posterity.:lamo

The Obama Campaign in the wake of their debate meltdown continues to make themselves look petty, pathetic, and small in defeat

November can't come fast enough

Be careful what you wish for.

I think it would have been more important for any government support of PBS when there were only 4 channels on the dial. Now there are whole ranges of channels on the cable dial I just skip past because I'm not in that demographic. See, I still use the word dial and I haven't had a tv with a dial in decades.

This was the goose that laid the golden egg and somehow the Obama campaign has totally screwed it up. I have no pity for them. They have been so gotcha reactionary it is unbelievable to me. Romney runs all these ads about Obama going after jobs in coal country and the Obama response was just a petty little ad with a miner or 2 saying they felt like they would have lost their jobs had they not stood behind Romney at an event. Really? I mean there are people making youtubes who could have come up with a better response ad than that. It almost feels to me like Obama does not want to win but doesn't want to be seen as a quitter.

Havent seen the ad you cite but there is certainly doubel meaning. Im sure the intent was that their Coal Gods would have fired them had they not made a pretense of support of Romney. The other much more real and likely scenario is that if they dont back Romney and vote for Obama they either already HAVE lost their coal job or likely soon will.

So who do you back...the guy that says he is full steam ahead with coal or the guy that has invested billions of taxpayer dollars to 'green' energy providers (and PURELY coincidentally, campaign backers) that have gone bankrupt or in some cases shipped those green jobs out of the country and waged a war on coal and promised to bankrupt the industry. Huh...that IS a tough choice...

I don't back anyone at this point. I will play devil's advocate for Romney sometimes but will point out things that I think are factually inaccurate in posts against Obama. I have no idea who to vote for. But interesting that you bring up green energy because that healthcare decision now would give the government the authority under the taxing clause to compel people to buy $50K hybrid cars they may not be able to afford or face a huge tax penalty. It is ripe for unlimited abuse and Obama himself in his campaign debate against Hillary specifically opposed mandates. He then sold out on it. I have no problem with healthcare, but it should have been a single payer system or it should not have had that mandate.

Sorry I just love how this story has more legs than a centipede

November can't come fast enough

You are right. November can't come fast enough. Then we get to see Mitt's best side, the view of him in the rear view mirror.

Petty? Hardly....Mitt Romney wants to crack down on Sesame Street and ease up regulations on Wall Street. I wouldn't call that "petty".

You'd be a great commercial for Obama. :lamo You're good at memorizing bull**** from campaign ads.

Id vote for Big Bird over Obama...

Im talking just the bird suit.. not the dumb liberal inside the bird suit...LOL

All conservative are required to believe that Big Bird is responsible for most of the debt since that's what romney and Limbaugh told them.

For Travis007 to vote for Big Bird, then, would be an act of insubordination . GOP voters are required to obey their politicians and TV/radio Messiahs. Failure to do so will result in severe consequences.

"Crack down" on Sesame Street? Seriously? Hyperbolic nonsense is hyperbolic nonsense.

To a GOP voter, the hyperbolic nonsense spouted by their Messiahs is Biblical truth.

$1000 reward to anyone who can find me a GOP voter that doesn't believe Sesame Street is a major factor in the debt.

The add is so desperate, it reeks of someone that is scraping for something, anything to gain traction.
