Six million more people tuned into last nights debate, than the first presidential debate of 2008. Here is the peliminary breakdown of the numbers:

Total viewers 9:00 - 10:30 pm

FNC 10,421,380 total viewers
CBS 10,176,000 total viewers
ABC 10,117,000 total viewers
NBC 9,914,000 total viewers
FOX 6,977,000 total viewers
CNN 6,045,109 total viewers
MSNBC 4,710,511 total viewers

When you combine NBC with MSNBC, and FOX network with FOX cable, it looks like this:

FOX 17,398,380 total viewers
NBC 14,624,511 total viewers

What this means to me is, Republicans are definitely engaged this election cycle.
