Did the debate change anything?

I just saying, Obama's poor performance was just a act, designed to reposition Romney as the figure of Authority and Establishment, and remake Obama into the Underdog Rebel.

People keep saying this. It's silly.

I think it is clear that the overwhelming majority of people believe Romney won last night's debate. However, does anyone think it mattered? Do you think anyone changed their mind on who they were going to vote for?

Give them some time... People are not impossibly fickle.. Give them some time. While I have been pleased so far in Obama's low key handling of Foreign policy, I have not been impressed with his fiscal policies. I know that we need healthcare reform, but 2000 plus pages does NOT impress me.. I think substance gets lost in verbiage.

The remark "You didn't build that" is not just naive, its stupid.. Why would a smart man say such an imbecilic thing?

His remarks about subsidies to oil companies also does not ring true or address the whole story. The companies that get write offs for exploration and drilling that turn up dry wells don't go to the majors, but to smaller, independent oil companies.
