Why Romney Is Losing

Um, don't you have anybody else to bait? I'm not biting.

My statement to you was:

With reference to my post and your response:

I am stating FACTS:

FACT ONE: In your resume you stated you were a "conservative".

FACT TWO: Your post elicited the "likes" of: pbrauer, disneydude, Carleen and 5 others like this.

My amused response regarding these TWO incontrovertible facts are the SUPPOSITION that you have a very strong grip on TRUTH or REALITY.

I am decidedly NOT baiting you.

I am interested in your response regarding your perception of TRUTH in this matter.

When anyone posts anything.......the TRUTH of the issue is of PARAMOUNT importance.

There isn't anything more important than the TRUTH in any post, or posts.

I am simply interested in your version of TRUTH.

I believe that is a legitimate query in ANY discussion, on ANY topic.

I am not the topic of this thread.

And I'm still not taking the bait you are laying out. You are now on ignore, and will now have to find somebody else to try and start a fight with.

Don't be paranoid "dude" You said" Romney has lost" and that is what all liberals want people to think so they become dis spirited, don't donate and don't vote. The article never says he has lost those are your words so you interjected you into the subject. Take a chill pill "dude".

Does everybody remember how that damn librul media encouraged Wisconsinites to get out and vote on the recall, and how horribly biased it was?

So it's not okay to say "you should vote," now they're trying to suppress voter turnout (which usually works out in the GOP's favor)....can't say anything around here, can you?

Seldom, if ever, is any one of the posters the topic of any thread.

It is almost certain that once we post, we may become the topic of the post.....but not the THREAD.

For a second, I was confused......it was like you mentioning (outa the blue) that you are not an eskimo eating wax candles for dessert.

As a matter of fact ...... I still don't understand where that comment of yours came from. Unless, you're simply at a loss to answer my question.

When any poster posts, one would think it's legitimate to ascertain that the poster is a person of veracity. And, if there is a confusion as to the person's political identity, it is reasonable to establish the factual TRUTH about that.

Obviously, you have every right to put me "on ignore" if you choose to avoid the issue of the TRUTH involved.

I assure you, that the last thing I want to do is to "start a fight" with you.

I was, am, under the impression that seeking the TRUTH is what our posts are all about.

Sorry, if the search for the TRUTH is so offensive to you.

Fixed it for ya.

Polls don't mean anything... They're useless. The only "poll" that matters will be held on November 6th.

Taking a small sample of the American public (regardless of age or eligibility to vote) then asking them who they will vote for gives no clear insight into the matter. Not to mention the pollsters can target any demographic they want and then claim "well it was random."

No intelligent person would put any faith into polls.

Hell, every day I read about a poll that has Romney in the lead and on the same day I read a poll that has Obama in the lead....

I'll tell you this much - I live in a lower-middle class neighborhood that is predominately Mexican and I can tell you I see nothing but republican political signs/endorsments on their property - not Obama or Romney signs but local republican candidates....

Except that when that many polls from across the country all show roughly the same thing that's not a good sign. It's one thing to look at a single poll in isolation. It;s another to consolidate dozens or even hundreds of polls with different methodology in the same time period and all find they say the same thing.

Again:
Nate Silver: The polls aren’t wrong - Salon.com

Nate is a freegin' God of polling prediction models. I'm not a fan of polls but I trust his far more than others. I seriously think the ****er invented a time machine and is merely telling us the results of what he's seen.

I'm generally with the "the only polls that matter is the one on election day and the one the stripper is dancing on" crowd, but when dozens if not hundreds of polls across the country all show the same thing, that's hard to reject.

His 2008 predictions kind of did it for me... From your link:

In 2008, Nate Silver built a near-perfect model for analyzing the polls at his web site Fivethirtyeight.com. Silver called Obama over McCain in March — and ultimately nailed 49 of 50 states, got every Senate race right and predicted the popular vote within a percentage point.

It's really difficult to ignore those results.

Haha Rob i like your quote list

If you are going to throw out ridiculous predictions that buck the system... I'm willing to make you eat your own crow. I'll eat crow if they are right... but I feel rather safe taking this bet.

The Media Echo Chamber and protection racket.

It's almost like you are rooting for obama to win. The polls are heavily oversampling dem's based on voter turnout in 08 but but the pollsters and you libs may be in for a big surprise. The polls showed Walker was in a very tight race, he won in a land slide.:)

Nothing new here.

Hey dude. This thread is not about me. But since YOU are the one who brought me up in a thread that is not about me, I'll admit it. I posted a thread with a link from.......

American Conservative Magazine!!

Damn, all you had to do was click the link, and READ!! Reading is fundamental. Try it, and maybe you won't end up posting idiotic stuff like this that makes you look really foolish. LOL.

It's a blame Bush for everything article, and THAT'S why you like it. Don't lie to us, you spent 10 years blaming Bush for everything yourself. Anyone can dig up your old posts and see that plain as day.

Do you have anything to say that is on topic, or do you intend to keep frothing at the mouth?
