Romney and the middle income bracket

I'm pretty sure republicans do the same thing... how many times did we see the videos where obama "slipped that he was a muslim". No party is on the hill, looking down on the other. Both have their fair share of people who sit up on the hill... and both have their fair share of people who are in the mud, brawling with each other.

of course thats true, but I will submit that in the campaign of 2012 the dems have been much more in the mud than the repubs. When your record is terrible, its the only campaign tactic that you have left.

No it is not a matter of perspective. He was asked a very clear and simple question.. Is 100k middle class?.. he replied no and then started to backtrack. It is very clear when you see the interview and read the text.. Either Romney was thinking of something else (his car elevator maybe?) and miss-spoke or he did not understand the very simple question. Regardless, of which it was... it does not exactly show Romney as the great thinker and statesman as he and his GOPers want him to be.. it in fact shows him as out of touch since he answered the very simple question... Is 100k middle class... with a no and then started to set some strange boundaries that made no sense.

It also explains some what why his whole campaign is such a mess at this moment....

As I said, it involves being reasonable.

I can count on my hand the amount of conversations I have had in the last month in which someone addressed me a question that I started out with "No..." blah blah, but strictly speaking saying No wasnt what I meant.

But then again I am not out banging the drum for or against anyone. You are.

Yep, I noticed that too. In 2008, the campaign focused on "change, and look at the amazing thing we will accomplish!"
now its " omg, you guys suck. We don't suck as much as the other guys, vote for us"

Not that it matters really. Obama has 4x the money that Romney has. He is in a way, 4x more in debt to the special interest groups to do what they want him to do the next time he gets into office. He already catered to Wall Street with the bailouts and to the insurance companies with obamacare... what else does he have to sell.

I don't see any confusion here. He apparently thought the question referred to the upper income cap on middle class and disagreed with a 100k cap.

Obama also agrees that families/households making $250k or less are "middle class".

What's really sad here is that despite the very obvious desperation in trying to paint Romney in a bad light, there are still ignorant voters who will buy into these attempts.

That might be what he wanted to say, but that is not what he said.. Sorry but you can try to spin this as much as you want, but fact is he said no, and then started to backtrack.. just as he has done so many times before on so many issues.

Dude...you are now entering the realm of ridiculousness.
