The far right is blaming Romny and his campaign...but since romney chose PAUL RYAN as his running mate hes gone nowhere but DOWN...he got no bump out of the convention and the more ryan talks the more romeny slips.....its your far right agenda republicans...not your candidate.....Ryan has hurt romny immeasurably.

A Philadelphia Inquirer poll released Saturday has President Barack Obama leading Mitt Romney in Pennsylvania, 50 percent to 39 percent.

From the press release:
The post-convention surge that is often anticipated by both political parties in polling data appears to currently benefit President Barack Obama, who leads Republican Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney by 11 points among likely voters in the Keystone State, 50% to 39%, with a margin of error +/- 4%.
Pennsylvania Democrats are more consolidated behind Obama, with 77% in favor of Obama and 13% in favor of Romney, while Republicans are 18% in favor of Obama and 71% in favor of Romney.

I agree Romney was hurt by choosing Ryan, but 11 points?

the number of people who are sucking on the public teat or who are resentful of the successful apparently outnumber those in that state who are successful or who don't need the government to prosper

I thought it was interesting that the moment the **** hit the fan in Libya, Obusha rocketed up almost 20% on Intrade bets. I consider Intrade a stronger indicator than any polls. You're playing with real money, not the usual hot air that passes for political discussion.

It seems that whatever Obusha did, he did right (so far). Also, I think Romney screwed up by criticizing. It's another 9/11 tragedy - maybe he should have stood together with Obusha instead of automatically being negative.

Just my theory. I'll welcome other opinions.

These polls are meaningless now...Many are over sampling, and using 'push poll' type leading questioning to arrive at their numbers...I am waiting for the debates.

I can't find a link ATM, but the Plain Dealer has been reporting Obama's lead in Ohio is very narrow.

What is Intrade? The stock market?

Yes, I think Romney messed up by criticizing Obama. But that wasn't immediately apparent -- I don't think he expected this to become the widespread phenomena that it has.

Your posts are permeated with whining about the wealthy and ranting how Romney is going to screw over someone who is living on a public sector pension. the fact is-Obama appeals to the losers. Four years ago, many of them thought he would help them escape "loserdom". Now they realize that was a pipe dream so they support him in the hopes he pulls the winners down to their level

I saw a couple hundred Obama supporters standing in line today to get tickets to see their messiah. I bet less than one in ten had a job.

It's unsurprising. Romney pulled most of his resources out of Pennsylvania and Michigan awhile ago to focus on states like Wisconsin and Iowa. Personally I think its probably a better strategy than McCain had last time where it was Pennsylvania or broke.

Yes-
this is all about the teat suckers who will soon be the overlords of the poor down trodden upper 1%

Meanwhile back in reality- Pennsylvania has been hard hit by outsourcing, economy shift from heavy industry to financial/service. The recession gutted many of the larger cities budgets and left the smaller towns with no place to drive to work. Many people are working several part time jobs to cover bills.

it is the economy not the deficit that is driving this election. It is middle Class fears of losing it all because a few uber riche got uber greedy that drives this election. It isn't teat suckers but Middle Class angst that drives this election.

Your right about that J-mac this and other polls does not mean Obama is winning the election...I agree

Romney had to call Obama out. Everyone is finding out Obama's foreign policy is about as effective as his domestic policies. Now Obama is considering another stimulus. That means the economy is weak and everyone seems to know that except Obama supporters. Hell, even he knows it.

Romney probably wishes he'd struck a more statesman-like note in his remarks about the Libyan murder, etc.

One poll has romny down 7 pts in Ohio and another has him down by 4 pts

A new GOP poll fresh out of the field in Ohio has good news and bad news for Republicans. The good news: Mitt Romney’s deficit in Ohio is perhaps not as bad as the seven points the NBC/WSJ/Marist survey released last night has him down by. The bad news: Romney is still losing in the Buckeye State.

The Republican poll, an internal survey not taken for Romney’s campaign, shows President Obama leading Romney by four points in Ohio. It was conducted this week

Romney and people like you are out of touch with the American people and what they want. Most people want jobs, not government hand outs. Telling these people to just go get a job proves you have no clue about the economy.
People are needing help from the government right now because there are not enough jobs for people. Obama seems to be the only one who understands what it will take to get jobs in this country. Sending jobs overseas because people in China are willing to work like slaves isn't creating jobs in this country. Romney has a vested interest in sending more jobs to China and protecting the wealthy.
This is why Romney is going to lose this election.

You are spot on.

I'd love to see some evidence of that claim. Obama is a complete failure and his joblessness rate proves he doesn't understand squat.

YOu also seem ignorant of global labor markets

rather than rant about the rich tell us how a business that pays 30 dollars an hour for the same labor another business pays 5 dollars an hour is going to remain in business.

and tell us what your messiah Obama has planned to change the entire force of global labor markets.

Obama has a vested interest in keeping people like you dependent on the government and voting for his party

So are you saying anyone who supports obama is a lower class, lazy, loser who hates america?

From what I can gather from the Romney/Ryan plan, they want to raise the taxes of the middle class. By raising the taxes of the middle class, it will cause the middle class to move toward the lower class. At this point, the middle class will be more dependent on government than every before. So, it seems to me that it is the GOP wanting to make the 99% more dependent on government. The GOP has not focused on passing a jobs bill. THey could care less about the middle class and they do support more tax breaks for the rich. It is clear they want a two class system, the rich and poor class. Obama supports rebuilding the middle class. We can't do that without jobs. Obama can't stimulate job creation without Congress. Why is this so hard for people like you to understand?

So are you saying anyone who supports obama is a lower class, lazy, loser who hates america?

of course not-there are many power hungry elites or wannabes who support Obama as well

plus single issue voters such as

1) abortion rights advocates, and especially providers

2) those who place gay rights as their most important issue

3) labor union bosses, plaintiff's attorneys and others who find a dem controlled government more lucrative

4) the uber rich who want more control of others and figure more government gives them more control

5) the ne'er do wells pseudo intellectuals and white collar cubicle bunnies who want the government to punish those who have actually succeeded

Strawmen are all you ever have.

until you can prove that claim (which apparently is based purely on dem anti Romney ads) I will have to pass on responding to the house upon which you built on that faulty foundation

Are you actually going to answer how a business that pays the sort of wages you want is going to survive COMPETING against other firms that buy the same quality of labor for 1/6th the cost?

And what is Obama going to do for YOU other than telling you those who are more industrious or ambitious than you are should be taxed more?
