Polls: Obama holds the edge in Florida, Ohio and Virginia

Graph: Unemployment rate (seasonally adjusted)
Jan '09 Unemployment rate 7.8%.

Average gas prices--January 26, 2009
Regular gasoline/gallon $1.84

Let me know when you want to stop saying stupid **** and I can feed you some real news sources to base your economic data on. Continue driveling incessantly.

Thank you for showing us unemployment declines. BTW do you know when Obama took office? That's Jan 2009 so none of his policies took effect till 2010. Thank you again for providing data that supports my claim.

Comparing Gas prices near labor day with Jan? Not to mention after a global economic collapse

I don't think I've seen gas prices really surpass $4 under Obama so those claims don't hold

His stimulus took effect immediately.

I find it strange that of all the polls I have read this election cycle I don't recall a single one where more republicans than democrats were counted. I don't believe that's a coincidence.

It's partially because Democrats actually do have the Party ID edge nationally and in most states. Even during a Republican bounce, it takes more to overcome that.

But Scott Rasmussen has been weighting his polls with a slight Republican edge for the last few months I believe. There have been a few others here and there that have given the GOP a lead. The race has mostly been static though, with no Republican bounce to drive the number of people identifying as Republicans up.

Hell no, he sought revenge against Iraq.

We need a president who realizes we need to be tough to get the respect of the rest of the world.

Which would have been really praiseworthy if Iraq had anything to do with the twin towers. Get tough? Yeah, that's a great strategy. Lets find some more places to go to war.

I agree that's because there are more Democrats than Republicans in the nation.

Of course, the $1.84 gas price in Jan 2009 was a statistical anomaly. Gasoline hit an all-time high in July 2008, just before the world economic crisis pulled the rug out from under the oil markets (like all other markets). Gasoline has merely returned to its continuing price, and in real dollars it is lower than it was in the summer of 2008.

That doesnt mean his facts suddenly become correct. If he wants to pick data he needs to be accurate about it. Hes not.

Wall Street Journal - Obama 50% Ohio.

Sorry Ann, Team Mitt screwed up a wet dream. No WH for you.

Enjoy the gloating for now. After a week that proves what a blithering simpleton Obama is on foreign relations, it won't last long. We still have the debates to go through.

Uh, I think you got that wrong. Romney is the one who looks like a blithering simpleton on foreign relations, and even some in his party agree!

Let's face it, the Ohio numbers are a crushing blow to team Romney.

Too much to make up and the debates are not going to be their strong suit.

Sorry, hazel, its far from over. 1 poll done by a democrat pollster means nothing. a poll that over samples democrats means nothing. The polls you continually cite are being run to try to influence opinion, not report on it.

At this point an incumbent should be way ahead, its a dead heat and history says that undecideds go to the challenger in a tight race. OBAMA--ONE TERM LOSER, get used to it.

uhhh, ok. "Egypt is not an ally, but they are not an enemy either" brilliant quote from obozo. every time he opens his mouth he makes himself look like more of an incompetent.

Once again, the incompetent one is Romney. He knows zilch about foreign policy. He's a loser.

So we should go to war with libya and egypt because a group of radicals attacked an embassy in their country?
No, but "rolling over and going back to sleep" just shows what a punk this President is. Are you happy that our country is the laughing stock of the world? That every day Obama apologizes for dead Americans, simply emboldens our enemies? Does it make you all warm and fuzzy knowing that while our embassies are being attacked, your Dear Ruler is out in Vegas whoring for votes? Not me.

The reality is that romney is the fail on foreign policy
You don't even know what Romney would do. He's not been in that position.

I don't see him as having the demeanor or the intelligence to handle important things like US foreign relations at all.
So you prefer a wuss president? Just as long as that government check keeps showing up in the mail, right?

The reality is no one else believes you or romney in this regard.
Funny you should mention reality. Very ironic.

Perhaps you would like it better if thesecond in command of Al Queda was still alive?
Which one? If you'd steer your gaze away from your Obama poster, you'd realize there've been more "number two" guys than Elvis impersonators in this country.

obama was wrong for killing Osama.
No one is saying it was wrong for Bin Laden to be killed on Obama's watch. However, unless your president-crush rappelled down from the helicopter, and pulled the trigger himself, Obama did not "kill Bin Laden." Romney would have done it. Bush would have done it. Hell, my dog would have done it. Keep drinking that coincidental Kool-Aid though. Keep thinking of your Ruler as your little knight in shining armor.

Hey, not every president can let 3000 americans die in a single attack like you seem to enjoy.
You do realize that now TWICE as many soldiers have died under Dear Ruler than did under Bush right?

Yes, you probably wish wacky khadaffi was still alive too. Are you sure you are american?
You know all that garbage about the lefties saying "well, at least we had Hussein CONTAINED. He wasn't a threat to us!" What threat was Khaddafi to us? He was actually improving relations with America. If you left-wing loons were so angry over Iraq, why are you giving your President-crush such a pass in Egypt and Libya? Why turn such a blind eye to the deaths of American citizens???

...just as long as that government check keeps showing up in the mail though, right?

The debates will be a death blow to Romney. A self-inflicted death blow.

How so? Exactly what can Obama run on, in regards to his record? The debates are gonna go like this...

Romney: I'm going to....
Obama: He's going to....
Romney: I'm going to...
Obama: He's going to...

Romney: I'm going to cut taxes for everyone rich like myself
Obama: He's going to cut taxes on everyone rich like himself
Romney: I'm going to deregulate banks
Obama: He's going to deregulate banks

...so far so good

Of course Obama could mention

Unemployment drooped form 10% to 8%
Employment is steadily rising again
Stocks doubled
GM is alive and Osama Bin Laden is dead - I guess he can spare that line for Biden for Ryan crushing.
Health coverage expanded
Debt is reasonable

But your totally right there's absolutely no need to mention those things as Romney will just beat himself.
Foreign relations are better
