Southern Whites troubled by Romney's wealth and religion

Isn't Obama also very wealthy? I don't see why Romney's money is highlighted so often or used to vilify him.
Romney's money is an issue because he espouses more trickle down economics that strongly favor himself at the expense of everyone with less than six or seven zeros in their net worth. Obama is rich, but he comes across more as a lawyer/politician who didn't get rich until he got into the corrupt **** of politics. Romney comes across as the entitled rich guy who raped your pension and outsourced your job to expand his fortune, and now he's into politics to further screw you over.

You know, I could understand an argument--while maybe disagreeing with it--that Romney is all about the power because once you have all the money+ that anybod could ever spend, what else is there?

But I can't buy your opinion that money equals a desire to screw others over. I don't understand this particular projection at all. Money doesn't equal malignancy.

The feelings of distrust comes from the apparently dubious ways he magnified his wealth at the cost of others, exploiting the system to create money without producing anything of real value. The opinion of malignancy comes from a rational assessment of the Ryan plan. "Cut taxes 20% across the board and we can pay for it with cuts to social safety nets, but don't worry, the cuts won't have to be too deep because we'll magically have 20% economic growth"

what? the man saved companies from extinction for a living.

Romney can't beat Obama with his track record.
He is just playing with the GOP.
