President Barack Obama on Monday refused to acknowledge the existence of a presidential “kill list” despite multiple assertions by top-ranking officials in his administration that the list exists.

Ben Swann, a reporter for Cincinnati’s FOX 19, asked the president, “How do you as president utilize that power [of the presidential kill list] to assassinate … U.S. citizens?”

“You’re basing this on reports in the news that have never been confirmed by me, and I don’t talk about our national security decisions in that way,” the president responded.

Swann recognized that Obama himself has not confirmed the reports, but several high-ranking officials in his administration have.

More than three dozen of the president’s current and former advisers discussed the kill list in interviews for a New York Times article, including former Chief of Staff Bill Daley, former Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair and John Brennan, the president’s top counterterrorism adviser, who personally guides Obama through the process of deciding whether or not to put a person on the kill list.

Well that's the last time Obama's going to go near a Fox news reporter this election cycle. Didn't this guy get the word he was only allowed to ask piercing questions like "What's your favorite place to eat when your in Cincinnatti?" and "what's Michelles favorite color"? Gee whiz...this guy needs to learn to stick to the script.

How about this Fox Business News script?

History Shows Stocks, GDP Outperform Under Democrats

Thanks to their pro-business approach and the anemic recovery, Republicans would seem to have a clear path to grab the economic mantle heading into the 2012 race for the White House.

However, history actually shows that the U.S. economy, stock prices and corporate profits have generated stronger growth under Democratic administrations than Republican ones.

According to McGraw-Hill’s (MHP) S&P Capital IQ, the S&P 500 has rallied an average of 12.1% per year since 1901 when Democrats occupy the White House, compared with just 5.1% for the GOP.

absolutely nothing to do with the 2012 election

LOL!

the chron, june 8:

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the Democratic chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, vowed Thursday to halt intelligence leaks from the administration, starting down a treacherous political path that could embarrass President Obama at the height of his re-election campaign.

The leaks include New York Times reports on U.S. cyber-warfare against Iran, "kill lists" of militants targeted by U.S. drones in Pakistan, and a double agent who infiltrated a terrorist group in Yemen.

The California senator said the leaks "jeopardize American lives" and undermine U.S. security by making it difficult to work with foreign governments and recruit spies to infiltrate terrorist groups.

embarrassed yet?

why did then secty of defense gates tell nsa donilon to stfu the morning after the ubl get?

why did feinstein say the leaks came from the white house?

how did nyt's jo becker and scott shane learn the heretofore secret details of the president's "every week or so" security meetings where the "baseball cards" were gone over in the "nomination" process to determine who was next to be assassinated?

even to the point of reporting to all america and the world the inner thought processes of meeting members?

and what in the world was david axelrod doing there?

why did obama deny the kill list exposed by the nyt in june?

who's lying?

what obama and his rapidly diminishing supporters want this election to be about---todd akin, clint eastwood and swiss bank accounts

what 2012 is really about, and there's nothing anyone can do to prevent it---the issues

obama depends on the uninformed in november outvoting the linked, an impossibility

too many americans know, and more are learning the ugly truths every day

Though I wont be voting for the President, I strongly support his policy on drone strikes, including the Awlaki strike. I give him great credit for those decisions. That being said I think it's legitimate to have it raised as an election issue.

And here is another example or republi-goggles or should we say republivision, the altered state of reality republicans seem to adhere too.

The president refuses to acknowledge the existence of a kill list is what reality vision says, in republivision this is "president denies existence of kill list".
