This Video MIGHT Stop Romney From Becoming President

Great piece. They really hit the nail directly on the head with all three prongs correctly identified. Let us hope the DNC uses it as a template for tons of sixty seconds ads.

After their first six points I had to stop. WHo do I sue to get those two minutes of my life back?

Oh yes...it was the GOP"s fault states did not budget their money and couldnt afford to pay their people and that is why they should have rushed blindly to dump debt on future generations...all to pay off union leaders. ANd of COURSE it was just thew GOPs fault with regard to the debt ceiling. NOT the dem controlled senate that cant pass a basic budget (and has never cast a single vote for the Obama budgets). Yes...the GOP imposed the debt ceiling...not prior congressional acts.

I marvel that there are morons that will rush to embrace that video. I take solace in knowing that those morons that do rush to embrace the video are already mindless partisan hacks and were already belly button deep in kool aid.

I get it. It's irony.

If I had a dollar for every single time a person on the internet said they had a video that was gonna destroy Obama, Romney, McCain etc I'd have a few million dollars in the bank by now.

Oh hey, Glenn Back has turned into a liberal.

There is exactly nothing original in the video. It is just a massive slam against Romney, the rich and Republicans - all trying to divert from Obama's record. Exactly nothing in the video gives reason to vote for Obama, just tries to smear Romney.

I hope the Obamaniacs dont' start hundreds of "watch this video!" threads like this and like the Paulites did.

Errr...sorry Im not for romny but this video isnt telling us anything we dont know and moveon.org doesnt have a shred of partisan fairness in it...its the same as the drudge report on opposite spectrums

Do they think Mitt Romney is going to watch this video and drown in all the snark?

Honestly a lot of the video presents correct information (though its not like Obama doesn't have major corporate donors too), but it does so in a way more obnoxious than could possibly be imagined.

LMAO...That's the funniest stick ever. Who did this? The Onion? Daily Show? Whoever did it is a comic genius.

This is impressive. They are directly reading every single talking point in 4 minutes!

Anything from MoveOn will have no affect except among rabid partisans who don't need convincing to vote dem to begin with. They have long since been marginalized (mostly their own doing) as dem cheerleaders. In fact, anything they release actually hurts the party with republican and independent voters (you know, the folks you have to get if you want to win). It brands the info as highly partisan and so is discounted by republican and independent voters.

Ya, but it wasn't supposed to be serious...at least, it didn't seem like it was supposed to be. :wow:

No, this is serious when it comes from MoveOn. That's the sad part.

Fine, let's take it seriously then:

Corporations are people – The comment does not mean what is implied by the video. His comment was in reference to income and double taxation with regards to corporations. He was commenting (or attempting to) on how corporate income is taxed as profits and then that same money was taxed again as the primary share holders took their cut.

Strapped dog to the roof – They are trying to imply that this was abuse, but by all accounts, this dog loved to ride on the roof. And, it fits as most dogs love open air rides. Being strapped to the roof was probably safer than being free to roam in the back of a truck, which is wildly popular.

Money in the Cayman Islands – They imply that there is something wrong with this, but foreign bank accounts have a lot of benefits, including increased returns, lower exchange charges and more.

GOP starving states of funding – There is no evidence of this, but there is evidence of the exact opposite. California Sen President Pro Tem Darrel Steinberg has openly expressed “You don’t want to pay for government, well then, you get less of it,” when referring to republican votes to cut the budget.

Credit Rating and Debt Ceiling – The debt ceiling and the credit rating are related, but not because the ceiling might not have increased. They are related because the higher the debt ceiling goes the less likely the USA is to be able to repay the debt.

One term president – Yes, Mitch McConnell said that…and with good reason. President Obama’s policies have lead to the increased debt, chronically high unemployment, inflation, higher oil prices and serious uncertainty with our health care system.

Many American’s blame Obama for the economy – They try to imply that Bush and Wall Street are to blame for the current economy. The reality is the economic problems began decades before Bush and are the product of over regulation. Obama’s inability to address the issues while he had his own party in control of both the house and senate indicates Obama is to blame for the continuation of the current economic situation.

GOP fought Obama’s reform to make him look bad – This is laughable. They fought the reforms primarily because they sucked. Even his own party wouldn’t vote for his budgets.

Romney is being helped by “1%’rs” – The implication is that Obama is not. That is simply not true. We all know that. Do I have to post about Sarah Jessica Parker and her $40,000 a plate dinner? Or are we to assume that teachers union members paid out their entire year’s salary for one piece of chicken and fancy speech from the President?

Florida Voter Suppression – This is an out and out lie. The goal of the voter purge in Florida is to remove NONCITIZENS from the rolls. No one else.

Voter ID laws – Do not suppress votes that are legal. Period. All they do is change the proof requirements so that the government can know that all votes that are cast are legal. Voter dilution is a huge problem, which is highlight in this video. If their numbers are right, there are 750,000 potential noncitizens or fraudulent voters in Pennsylvania alone and 5,000,000 nationwide.

Mike Turzai – Voter ID will help Romney win PA? Wouldn’t that imply that most of the illegal votes are going democrat?

OMG THEY SAID RACIST! – BOB IS RACIST! BOB IS RACIST!

Everything they said was a lie or designed to deceive. But, that's why I thought it had to be a joke. If you are going to take the time and money to make a video with that production quality, surely you'd have something of real substance.

Edited for brevity. I can't believe you took on that whole video. I'm impressed :)

Ya know how the lefty sycophants just immediately discredit anything that comes from FoxNews? You know...kinda how if they'd tell you water was wet, liberals would immediately deny and consider it a right-wing conspiracy?

Well what makes you think the independents and right-wingers will accept anything spewed from MoveOn.org?

I... wait, what information is correct?

Great. An Obama campaign ad. Yeah, this outta do it. O'Romney will commit suicide once he watches this.

Well what makes you think the independents and right-wingers will accept anything spewed from MoveOn.org?

Because conspiracies are fun!

In political discussion it's just a "hidden truth" when it's your side that promotes idiotic ramblings with a chalk board.
