What does Ron Paul do now?

At 77, he will probably retire and enjoy his status as America's Libertarian.

Short term? Continue doing a few speaking rallies and perhaps continue a bit as a Congressman.

Long term? Likely endorse someone that follows his message in 4 years, but I have a hard time seeing him being as successful as he was this year...and that wasn't all that much in and of itself...4 years from now.

Armchair quarterback his way through November.....

Hopefully he reflects on his philosophies on foreign policy. I really like the guy's fiscal stances, but he just doesn't acknowledge the real threats facing this nation, in fact, he went as far as to say that America is the SOURCE of the contention in the middle east. That's why liberals liked him too.....it was as close to America bashing as a Republican candidate ever got.....

since he's retiring from congress, i assume that he will focus on his movement and will probably pass the torch to Rand Paul.

Doubtful, though his son, Rand Paul has embraced the TEA Party, not really Libertarianism.

Hopefully he'll become more politically irrelevant. He'll probably become a speaker of some kind.

His push to Audit the Fed has been the only political idea I have heard from ANYONE over the course of this campaign that actually addresses the real systemic corruption within our current corporate-political economy!!!

I find this highly unlikely.

I certainly haven't seen every interview he has given, but enough to highly question your analysis,

He often speaks of blow-back to explain the contempt the region holds for us, but to blame us solely for the strife in the region is not in any way how I understand his views

He's never said anyting like that... Masada is full of it and can't back it up and that's guaranteed.

He does discuss blow-back... which is a CIA derived term, not his. Blowback does happen and we've experienced it quite a bit.
