Re: "Republican Women for Obama"

Two can play at this game. We can find women who are Democrats who are now planning to vote for Akin. That will make a nice political television ad.

Traumatic brain injury is a sad thing.

Re: "Republican Women for Obama"

So tell me if I"m getting this right...

The Obama Campaign is putting out ad's suggesting that the women in the ad are "republicans" who are going to vote for Obama, stating they voted for numerous Republicans, etc etc.....but in reality it's a big lie, they're activists or actors that are having their story presented as if it's fact but in reality is a complete fabrication?

I basically get it?

On on side...shocker, more dirty or dishonest tactics from the campaigns this year.

On the other side...shocker, I still had some posters trying to suggest that one side isn't doing any dirty or dishonest tactics in the campaign this year.

Re: "Republican Women for Obama"

Well CPwill...I can name 3 women in my immediate family that ALWAYS voted republican that arent voting for this mitt romny guy and I know personally several more VFW women members and wives that arent...

I just read quinni poll that said 68% of floridians WILL NOT VOTE for the privatization of medicare or vouchers and only 21% were for it...how many of those do you think USED to be lifelong republicans...because the republicans outnumber democrats in fla

I notice you didn't say your family members were going to vote for obama though. Some extreme right wingers may not vote for Mitt but they damn sure won't vote for obama.

I wonder why someone would continue to perpetuate the lie about privatizing SS and having a voucher system? Anyone that continues to believe that really has no business voting. There is no change for anyone 55 and older so today's seniors aren't even affected. My hope is that when the 716 billion is added back into Medicare that doctors and hospitals that have dropped the program will take Medicare paitents again.

Re: "Republican Women for Obama"

so controlled opposition is the norm, in the age of Big Brother nothing is as it seems …

The book "It Takes a Village," was written by Hillary Clinton?

That is, unless your village happens to be in an oil rich country, THEN KABOOM, YOU GET BOMBED, or shot by the Free Syrian Army.

Re: "Republican Women for Obama"

you want lower unemployment? are you willing to end tax breaks for those who ship our jobs overseas? the economy is growing, just not at the pace you want....decrease our national debt to 0? you willing to hold the republicans you elect responsible for their spending?(you are aware that the republicans have contributed greatly to the debt, right?) or are you one of those conservatives/republicans who feel that if your side adds to the debt/deficit, that it is ok, that it is necessary, and the only time that adding to the debt/deficit is bad is when democrats do it?

The economy is growing, are you kidding me. It's not keeping up with the birth rate.

I hold everyone responsible for spending what we don't have.

I don't like subsidies. period.

Now your side of it, your OK with Obama raising the national debt 6 trillion in just 4 yrs, your OK with 8+% unemployment, your OK with a GDP of 1.5%, and your OK with subsidies for solar and wind, hell I could go on and on the differences between us.

Re: "Republican Women for Obama"

No, my defense is that advertising has always used actors. Most of us knew that. Finding it funny that you didn't is not an ad hom.

:spin:
Except these are not put forward as actors, they are put forward as republican women who are for Obama. You trying to play duck and cover on this is intellectually bankrupt. It cant be both ways, either they really are republican women for Obama or the entire ad is a farce. The entire premise of the ad is made a lie by the identity of those giving testimonials to sway voters.

Playing it off as actors is a lame excuse to cover for the lying nature of the entire sham.

Re: "Republican Women for Obama"

This was a stupid ad for multiple reasons.

For every Republican voting for Obama, there's at least one Democrat voting for Romney.

Secondly, anyone who pays the least bit of attention to politics knows that Romney won't reverse Roe v. Wade.

Yes, Navy....they ARE liars and they disgraced their military service and dishonered all of those who serve and have served in the military with their dishonesty and propoganda. It doesn't surprise me that there are people like you out there that will support this kind of crap. I'm glad to see the military stand up to the latest attempt and say that they won't stand for the military to be represented in that manner.
