Romney: "Big business is doing fine" - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

Ah.....Hypocrisy at its finest. Remember just a few weeks ago when Romney and Republicans were going crazy because Obama said that the "Private Sector is doing fine"?

Well....it looks like Mr. Etch a Sketch is at his flip flopping best. Romney disagreed with Obama before he agreed with him.

What have you Willard? Is the private sector/big business doing fine or isn't it?

What is your position this week, Mr. Romney?

Remember it well, but IOKIYAR

If big business is doing fine then why do we need to vote for the guy who wants them to pay zero taxes? Certainly if they are doing fine they could hire a few more people. You know, the reason we are told we have to give them tax breaks and welfare. If they are doing fine then they can afford a few tax hikes to help pay for the country that makes it possible for them to do fine.

Is it just me or did mittens just undermine his entire campaign with that statement? Mitt Romney, champion of the rich who need help because they are doing just fine.

I read about this earlier. Seems a bit inconsistent considering earlier Republican attacks against Obama for his similar language.

Its Romney at his flip flop best and Republicans at their finest hypocrisy.

Why arent people making a bigger deal about this?

You had to erroneous equate big business to the private sector to even try to make your partisan point, and it was a pretty weak one.

the private sector relates to all business, not just fortune 500 type companies.

Big Business is doing very well. They have cut staff, cut salaries, cut benefits and are sitting on huge stockpiles of cash. "Big Business" are the CEOs and their platoons of Vice Presidents who pay themselves millions for doing nothing.

This might be the most honest statement of the campaign.

As for the rest of us....not so well perhaps.

Well, corporate profits are at an all time high.

well they think the top 1 or 2 percent are 400 billionaires so at least they are consistent

**Creepy Romney Voice** "Corporations are people, my friend..." and "I don't care about poor people..."

Romney is a frickin douche! He's a laughing stock.

If that were true the Obama supporters would not be so desperate.
