Whether or not you think that the UN is a joke, China and Russia are not a joke. And of course the US gets almost no oil from Libya so that's a bit of a non-issue.

I'd look at his positions on the issues, except nobody knows where Etch-a Sketch stands on anything. It depends on A) who he's talking to and B) what he's trying to get elected to. When he's trying to get elected Governor of Massachusetts he's a moderate guy who believes in health care and a woman's right to choose. When he's trying for the Republican nomination for President it turns out he doens't believe in those things at all.

Who knows what his next set of beliefs will be?

Actually we didn't do much bombing. It was mostly the French and their European friends. Hope there's lots of oil because there are a lot of folks in line before us - something you would actually know if you knew anything about the world.

Actually they ran out of the ability to run ops without US support after 4 days, and we had to pick up the slack from them. The US flew the vast majority of the missions, and provided support for most of the others. Turns out you can only cut from defense to pay for a nanny state for so long before your military can't project force anymore.

I would tend to agree - to the extent that we had good reasons for going into Syria, they were fairly Neoconservative.
