Tax cuts for the rich

Once again another wild-ass unsupported allegation. I thought you were an attorney. Didn't they teach you in law school that you are not your own witness; that allegations should be substantiated with competent evidential matter? Is it too late to get a tuition refund?

Actually, all in, we have a pretty equitable distribution of tax burden across income groups;

and a bit of a flat tax..

and, the reason the "rich" pay a disproportionate share in income taxes is because they have enjoyed a disproportionate share in income increase since 1980...

You want change in the income tax distribution, then advocate for change in the income distribution system in this country.... (hint, raising the highest marginal rates and advocating for unions will do this)...

what are you whining about other than the fact that you obviously didn't go to law school

the top one percent make about 22% of the income-pay almost 40% of the income tax

that is something than even the most braindead except as given

"Wealthy Americans earn about 50 percent of all income but pay nearly 70 percent of the federal tax burden, according to the latest analysis Tuesday by the Congressional Budget Office — though the agency said the very richest have seen their share of taxes fall the last few years.

CBO looked at 2007 through 2009 and found the bottom 20 percent of American earners paid just three-tenths of a percent of the total tax burden, while the richest 20 percent paid 67.9 percent of taxes.

Obama and the left complain all the time about Republicans just wanting to give more tax breaks to the rich. But the rich pay the lion's share of the taxes. So, if he supports lowering taxes for the poor, who pay no federal income tax at all, what tax would he cut to give them a break that wouldn't include the rich?

In other words, what tax do the poor pay that the rich dont pay? Answer, there isn't one. So, how could he cut the federal income tax rate on people who aren't paying federal income taxes? He says he wants tax breaks to go to people who need them. Ok fine. But 48% of the country pays no federal income tax. So which tax would he cut?

It's a simple question. Don't dodge it. It really is simple.

They dont pay FICA - ZERO on capital gains and capped on executive wages
They dont pay manditory fed taxs out of thier checks........

Do you really think 48% of USA makes less than $10,000 to ay no Fed taxes? LOL Keep spouting those lies!

Certainly my friend. The reason domestic production is up in America, isn't because we are drilling "MORE". It's because we are drilling "SMARTER". There's this little technology, that's been around for 60 years, but has been improved so dramatically in the past 10 years, that we are able to extract oil from places once thought unextractable. It's called "fracking". Do you know the term? Do you even know what it entails? Because of advancements in technology, THAT THOSE EVIL OIL COMPANIES DEVELOPED, we are extracting oil from shale in the Dakotas and Colorado primarily. There was a tremendous amount of oil trapped in shale in these regions, and because of this new technology, or advancement in this technology, we are able to produce high quality crude from these regions.

Take a trip to northwest North Dakota. Take a look at what is going on up there. We've known that oil was there for decades, and now we are able to get it.

Our production is up, even though liberals have said for years that production would never increase, because oil was a finite resource and we were on the downslope. You might know that philosophy called "PEAK OIL". No, the fact is, liberals don't have a clue how much oil rests under our soil. They just oppose getting it because the republican party has championed drilling for so long they have become the party of drill baby drill. They know it will work, and they know that when it works, everyone will know which party supports things and intitiatives THAT WORK. And it aint them.....

And how much oil is ND producing? Call it 300,000 brls a day.

Does that matter to USA oil consumption? or even dent oil imports? NOPE!

It all helps, but we could end foreign oil consumption if we opened drilling in ANWR, the eastern gulf, and the east and west coasts.

Are you happy that beef and chicken prices have skyrocked since half of the corn crop has gone into ethanol production---subsidized ethanol production by the way.
