A new poll shows President Obama gaining among Jewish voters on the eve of GOP candidate Mitt Romney’s visit to Israel, but still well below his support in the 2008 election.

A Gallup poll finds Jewish registered voters supporting the president by 68 percent to 25 for Romney.

The numbers represent a slip for Romney from a June Gallup poll which found him at 29 percent to Obama's 64 percent support among Jewish voters. [...]

Since the vast majority of Jews in the United States are Liberals, Romney was never going to have a chance with the Jewish vote.

Since 1928, the average Jewish vote for the Democrat in presidential elections has been an amazing 75%—far higher than that of any other ethno-religious group.

Every election cycle I hear stories about how Republicans are losing the Jewish vote. These stories are just not true. The GOP has never had the Jewish vote, although they have had the Orthodox vote for quite some time. If anything, the numbers are actually a little worse for Obama so far this election cycle. Obama took 78% of the Jewish vote in 2008.

He has little chance of winning the vote but he does have a chance to eat into Obama's majority. Let's remember that it does not matter what happens in NY or Calif but only in swing states like Florida.

this is why he is in Israel, cause he thinks that by wearing a kipa and caressing the Wailing Wall, he can convince Jews to vote for him.

sorry Mitt, but we care more about your policies than your silly theatrics in Israel.
