I can see this. I think it would beneficial for Romney. But i seriously doubt this will actually happen.
DRUDGE says she tops the list.............what do you think?
I think anyone who looks to Drudge as a source of truth and light is someone who is comfortable living in the dark.
...And a surprise name is now near the top of the list: Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice!
The timing of the announcement is now set for 'coming weeks'.
MORE
It was Condi who received two standing ovations at Romney's Utah retreat a few weeks ago, and everyone left with her name on their lips. ...
Rice would guarantee a Romney defeat. As Bush's National Security Adviser she rejected the warning from CIA director Tenant of an impending al Quaeda attack. She was a major proponent of the Iraqi war and duped by the false intelligence pointing to weapons of mass destruction. Her nomination would guarantee a rehashing of the entire war. The Obama administration would love the opportunity to deflect from the economy. In addition she is pro choice and would splinter the conservative base.

The first thing that comes to my mind is that as an individual Rice is probably the most brilliant, intellectually speaking, that we've had in a cabinet position for decades.
I like condi rice and always have and if she was running for president, I would vote for her, but if she is Romneys VP...Im still not voting romney.
Current DOE Secretary Steven Chu springs to mind -- winner of the Nobel prize in physics....
And . . . . . ?
The Nobel Peace Prize went to Barack Obama before he was elected POTUS. What had he done, one the world stage or anywhere, that the Nobel Committe found that qualified him for this prize?

Those who either don't vote or who vote for someone other than Romney are, by default, casting a ballot for Obama.

Comparing the peace prize to the physics prize is like comparing apples to orangutans.
That was after he was elected. Not that it means he deserved it, but the "accurate timeline" stick up my butt requires that we get it in the right order.
****, this is the first time I ever went full Libertarian. First likeable candidate (my opinion) I've seen from the Libertarian party, though he hasn't got a snowballs chance in hell of winning. And I am with Lokiate, even though I doubt he is voting Green.
Interesting, I just read an article on Drudge Report stating that Conservatives <that means far righters> arent warming up to a condi rice VP...shes pro choice and a couple of other reasons....I go back 5 mins later and that article is POOOF gone...I guess some of the right didnt like that article and gave him his marching orders
Still doesn't answer the question. And if they give a Peace Prize to someone who has done nothing in that arena, then the credibility of the Physics Prize award could also be questionable, yes?
