So...who will replace Romney as the GOP Candidate?

Rename the thread to...I wish the republicans would run someone other than Romney because he is going to beat Obama. That is too wordy. Let's try, "Please, 4 more years of ineptitude."

There is effectively zero chance that Romney won't be the nominee. He had the best chance going in and he still has the best chance of anyone could get in at this point.

As long as the rock is a Republican, I don't care.

?????

Barack vs. The Rock. Yeah, I'd take that over Romney. :)

I am beginning to see a possibility that Romney will not be the GOP Presidential Candidate, primarily because they cannot be that desperate. Between the new Bain fiasco, flip flopping to the point of absolute confusion, and his inability to gain any measurable traction with anyone not white and over 50...It is quite possible the GOP will ditch him.

Who do you think would replace him?

so even with independent agencies debunking the lies obama and his campaign are telling, you STILL believe that stuff about Bain?

check out the Garfield and Goldwater
To name just two

Actually, no one is challenging the notion that Bain was a major job offshorer (they were). The challenge is whether its fair to suggest that Romney was part of the problem. (Was he in charge of Bain when many of its most egregious job elimination and investment failures occurred?). Romney says he was out of there in 1999; Bain SEC filings say he was still in charge.

Romney nor anyone else of note has ever refuted the Bain business strategy of off-shoring. Romney has just asserted that he was not in charge when this strategy was in full-swing.

They're just going to run this one out to save face. Like Kerry in '04. Romney can't win, but they have to run someone.

yes, but none of the documents who list the people running the investments show romney as being involved. he was an absentee owner, which is not uncommon at all in business. Obama is trying to turn a technicality into a lie. he's been called on it by independent groups.

That's like the anti-kryptonite to partisans. Facts that is.

Obama, his campaign and surrogates know they're feeding a line of BS w/ this attack strategy. They're banking on the public being morons. Sadly, if you believe the polls, some certainly fall in that categorization.

I read this line from him today:

“If he aspires to being president, one of the things you learn is, you are ultimately responsible for the conduct of your operations, that’s probably a question that he’s going to have to answer, and I think that’s a legitimate part of the campaign,” Obama said in the interview

Simply amazingly ironic coming from the guy that has blamed everything that has happened on his watch, on somebody else.

President Obama, white courtesy phone, its Brian Terry's family--they want to know whose responsible for their son's death. Care to pick up?

I say make it Obama. Let's get rid of a charade of an election once and for all!

Mr President, its the unemployment office, they have some folks from closed Chrysler and GM dealerships and millions in coal, oil, pipeline and refinery business wanting to know when you are going to get off your ass on energy policy, how long should I put them on hold?

I can do this all day, this clown has passed the buck and blamed everyone but his own ****ty policies for the economic conditions we are under right now. For this hypocritical son of a bitch to suddenly figure out what responsibility means is great, maybe he ought to apply it to the guy in the mirror before he applies it to the guy across the aisle opposing him.

He's got an energy policy, throw $30+ Billion taxpayer dollars into the bonfire of bankrupt solar energy companies.

Obama's got an energy policy alright, and I feel pain because of it when I fill up my gas tank.
