So...who will replace Romney as the GOP Candidate?

Partisan crap people have been spoon fed is believing there's a difference between Obama and Romney.

There is a big difference in that Romney is control by the Conservative Politburo of Norquist, Limbaugh and Murdock.

Hey, some moderator, can you move this to the CT forum?

Anybody who thinks this is going to be a slam dunk easy win for either candidate isn't thirsty anymore. They've had more than their fill of kool-aid (either red or blue, depending on preference). Of course, looking over who's saying that, it's not a surprise.

I see Cons, though, are still struggling with it. "Do we embrace Romney and claim that we always supported him, or do we hold out hope that the corpse of Ronald Reagan will rise from the grave and shake off the Alzheimer's?" Try as they might, the two parties are not the parties of Lincoln and Jackson, or even Reagan and Clinton (respectively). They're the parties of Tweedle-dee and Tweedle-dum (aka Bush and Obama).

Ask a serious question in a debate forum for politics...and get the same silly partisan crap.

I know, huh?!? Just like the silly crap about how Obama is a shoe in!

I fail to see how this is "Partisan Crap"...there is a new Bain Fiasco for Romney, as he claimed to no longer be a part of it, yet SCC documentation states otherwise. The Fipping issue is so well documented as to be irrefutable, and his non white draw is very well established.

These are simply fact, truth, and reality...denying it does not make it go away.

I asked a very simple question...and it had NOTHING to do with Obama. Yet rather than answer it people decide to dodge and weave in favor of attack on the current president. Thus, Partisan Crap.

I'm gonna go with Rubio...Cristy is too damn fat and ill tempered, Palenty is like a Romney light....without the $$$$.

No one else stands a chance. (IMHO)

Both posts are partisan crap. Deal with it.

Romney isn't a fullbore Liberal.

Since you are never going to vote republican in the first place, Ive got to ask why those of us that are should give a flying **** what you think?

Bait thread is bait...in more ways than one.

It's funny to watch Libbos jump the Obama-boat.

not much of a bold prediction here, but i would guess that the chances that Romney is replaced at the convention approach zero.

I agree it's not likely, but I would love it if Christie was given the nomination instead of Romney.

I am beginning to see a possibility that Romney will not be the GOP Presidential Candidate, primarily because they cannot be that desperate. Between the new Bain fiasco, flip flopping to the point of absolute confusion, and his inability to gain any measurable traction with anyone not white and over 50...It is quite possible the GOP will ditch him.

Who do you think would replace him?

this might be one of the most idiotic bits of speculation I have seen.

you should be worrying about what happens when Romney replaces Oblama in the Oval Office

funny, everything i hear has obama winning a second term

I CANNOT BELIEVE NIXON WON EVERYONE I KNOW voted for McGovern

you need to stop hanging out at the local listening to a bunch of non-workers whine about Romney shutting down the public teat they suck from

everything I read is that its up in the air right now

Intrade - Barack Obama to be re-elected President in 2012

Well, looks like while every one might be a stretch, people putting money on the election are favoring Obama...

Best part is, all your hysterical namecalling and mouth foaming won't change that.

what are the london bookies predicting.

I have constantly said its a toss up right now

Oblama has a big advantage-buying the votes of millions of losers with promises he will give them the money of far less winners

losers always outnumber winners and Obama appeals to the bigger group

Are you able to formulate arguments that go beyond name calling?

are you able to see what an idiotic opening post this thread was started with. and yes, Obama's campaign is targeting the losers with promises he will afflict the comfortable.

do you know who the London bookies are betting on?

Speaking of desperate, this "issue" shows how desperate the Obamabots are.

He is also telling people that they will have to pay for health insurance. I doubt that will affect millionaires that much

do you know who the London bookies are betting on?

Why don't you tell us instead of playing cat and mouse.

Ya know there is such a thing as a search engine......

I almost never answer a question I don't know the answer to. its the background of teaching law and trying cases

What a totally worthless OP and thread.

Check the other posts. It's been debunked by both the Washington Post Fact Checker and the Annenberg Fact Check. Why would you keep insisting it's true? It demeans you.

55.5% shot this far out based on people putting money on Obama. I'd say that's still within the realm of a toss up and suggest that it'd point to "everyone" being a DEFINITE stretch not a "might be one". Even in regards to people putting money on the election, it's not even a stretch but a largely false statement to say everyone there is putting their money on him.

Best part is, your chiding of turtle and focus on overblowing what he says won't change that.

To the OP...the Republican's aren't going to switch off from Romney and you're deluding yourself into thinking that everyone thinks like you. This election is likely to be a close one. Hey...even the people Redress's references putting money on it have it sitting at a pretty close race at this point in time.
