Is it just me or is this getting really nasty? It seems like everything the President does is an outrage for the right wing. Every time He tries to take credit for something good He had done or attemted to do the right is up in arms and trying to create a witch hunt.

It is the GOP's right to disagree with the President but it is getting really old when they first block or filibuster everything the President tries to fix the economy and the have the nerve to say the economy is His fault. The fact the right wing deserves as much if not more blame for the economy going bad as the President but when He brings this up the GOP screams "All He does is blame Bush". Well I have news for my right wing friends. GW Bush does deserve plenty of blame and you all know it.

Every time the President tries to take some well deserved credit for His victorys in the war against terror the right wing screams "He is doing a endzone dance" and then try to create a witch hunt for leaking infomation to the press. The fact is many presidents in the past have leaked select infomation to make theselves look good so stop your whining.

Fast and furious has been going on for 12 years in one form or another and do you right wingers really think this is all Holders fault? The fact is those drug dealers would have been armed anyway and officer Terry would have been just as dead either way. I just think you right wingers are just hunting for outrage and are just about bringing this President down with any witch hunt you can create.

The bottom line is enough is enough. We all understand you right wingers hate the President for whatever reason. Us left wingers have disliked plenty of GOP presidents ourselves but this crap is rising to the point of hysteria and is getting out of hand. I think you know you have nominated a stiff and you are trying to make up for it with all this witch hunt BS. Stop it already.

That's a little nasty, but it's hardly anything new. You act like you never heard of politics.

As far as economic issues are concerned, Obama has made changes that are biblical in proportion. We're seeing things that we haven't seen since WW II. Maybe you didn't hear about the stimulus package, the bail outs, or deficits that are 2 1/2 times larger than what we had in the 80s. The ineffectiveness of these policies doesn't change the fact that they WERE enacted.

Dubya does deserve blame, but so do other presidents, including Carter, Reagan and Clinton. You can also blame plenty of members of Congress from both parties, including Dodd, Frank and Sen. Obama. Instead of focusing on who spilled the milk, we should be focusing on cleaning it up. Obama tried but failed, and now he and you are trying to deflect attention away from that.

If he's being witch hunted, it's with due cause. Rarely, if ever, have I not been witch hunted by liberals when engaging in debate. Every comment is a misinterpretation because liberals aren't interested in discussing values, but just logical fallacies.

That said, conservatives can do the same thing in the private sector, but you rarely see conservative intellectual elites.

Jon Stewart completely nailed this thought: The Wrath of Cons - The Daily Show with Jon Stewart - 06/26/12 - Video Clip | Comedy Central

It continues into the second clip.

Jon Stewart is one of the smartest guys out there.I watched Him eat Bill O'reilly for lunch several times on The Factor.

sigh..cmon...theres plenty of nasty to go around for both sides....wth do you think this is something new...every presidential election is the same...attack ads, nasty rhetoric, pundits lieing and attacking accusations to the other candidate from both sides.

Meh, historically tame actually. The headline issues of criticism are policy or how the Admin represented the policy. The vast majority of attacks on him are on the economy and his decision making as the countries chief executives.

Put into perspective, John Adams was accused of being a hermaphrodite and Jefferson accused of sex with slaves (turned out to be true).

Campaign as of now, nasty? Hardly.

Obama's DEA ****ed up in a huge way; they deserve to be hung out to dry and frankly Obama should bear a big brunt. The DEA is one big sh!tshow anyways, and the sooner the DEA gets shut down, the better. Why don't we here the GOP talking about THIS waste of taxpayer dollars, the giant black hole of stupid aka the DEA.

Everybody always thinks their guy won. Ask people who like O'reilly and they'll say the reverse.

As for politics, that's just how it is. GWB got vilified when he was in office. You need to take off the partisan glasses for a bit.

Those bailouts saved 2 out of the 3 big auto makers in this country and saved countless American jobs. This will carry Mich this fall. If the GOP would have been willimg to work with the President on some of these issues them maybe a compromise could be reached but instead they scrambled like a bunch of trapped rats and just dug their heels in the dirt and forced the President to bypass them. Heck even the king of rednecks Newt worked with Clinton a man he hated with a passion. Obama never got that from these right wing tea party nimrods.

Legalize drugs and end this crap now. As far as Fast and Furious goes those drug dealers would have had guns anyway and Terry would be just as dead. It is just the right wing trying to stir up a witch hunt and you know it.

What else are pretty slaves for? You can't tell me this is not the most nasty rhetoric in our lifetime. I have never seen the mad dog right so furious. I have news for these guys. Here on the west coast we think they are crazy unless you go out in the sticks but the are the minority. Here in Washington state all you have to do is carry three counties and all the rednecks are defeated.

Is your memory really that short, or are you too young to remember the vitriol leveraged against President Bush from day one of his first term? There isn't one derogatory thing said about President Obama by the right that wasn't matched, if not exceeded, by the things said about Bush by the left.

I'll give you this, both left and right have been highly hypocritical the last 12 years (at least). Some of the things the left complained about under Bush, they're defending now under Obama, some of the things the right defended when Bush did them, they now attack Obama for.

Finally, this is a presidential election season - live through enough of them and you'll know it's when all parties display the contents of the stone buckets they've been building against the other.

No, I'm posting him as satire, though to be honest he's a better source than Fox News.

The far right is in a frenzy. The GOP has swung way too far to the right and they are acting like the mad dogs they are. They are constantly trying to drag us back to the past.I hate to quote Fleetwood Mac but "Yesterdays gone" and the right needs to get it in their thick heads. The days of Leave it to Beaver are gone forever. The 60's and 70's took care of that false right wing utopia where everybody sinned but hid it behind false morality. I do not want to return to those times but many of those right wingers seem to.

Far better than the clown with the plastic hair who made his money putting the working class out of work and outsourcing to china...who only pays 13% taxs on 200 million and has a swiss bank account...the hell with him

Bull.Him and Bill Mahr are both smarter than anyone on FOX news. Abortion is a right. Don't let the Jesus freaks have their way on anything. I don't like abortion but anything the Jesus freaks are for I am against. Abortion is an evil necessity ans should not be abused. This is America and we are not a hierarchy.

Fox News is smarter than you think.

Remember, news organizations appeal to confirmation bias. You don't concoct BS like Fox without knowing what you're doing.

Next time you watch Fox, ask yourself, "Who watches this crap?" and "How do they figure out what these people like?"

It takes a savvy mind to not only feed confirmation bias, but make it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

LOL!!!

If Stewart didn't have sarcastic comedy on his side...nobody would listen to him.

Shocking! An uber liberal (your label not mine) thinks the rhetoric attacking Obama is over the top. Objectively, its been rather steady since the 90s. Clinton got it, Bush got it and now Obama is getting it. Some fair, some not but claiming that there is a significant in "nastiness" is just baseless.
