Bill Clinton undermining and sabotaging Obama at every chance?

And now, to add to my OP, Clinton is calling for Obama to extend the Bush tax cuts.

FAIL.

He just released a press statement saying the opposite.

FAIL. II.

I wouldn't say that Clinton is supporting Romney, however, he does seem to think that Romney was a good businessman. Which he was.

Tell that to the people who lost their jobs while Romney gutted their company!

That is a part of business and being a good business man.

Hey slick Willie....just take a peek at China...that's Red China, slick...you know Tiananmen Square and all. The same murdering barbarians that bankrolled your reelection campaign. The same Communist regime that forced Chen Guangchen to flee in the dark of night to the US embassy and plead for asylum. Because he was imprisoned for protesting the communist governmment's forced abortion and sterilization policies. The samer policies that Joe Biden stated were just fine with him. What clowns!

The same China that corporate America has shipped our manufacturing jobs to, is that the one you are talking about?

You do realize that I am not a Republican?

Which democrats have you supported in the past six or eight national elections?

algore who very nearly became pres and was later arrested for beating up hookers in a cheap motel,

I believe it was Al Gore's son, but I guess facts don't matter to you. If I'm wrong, please post a link.

Yes, that's the one. The most populous country on earth just teeming with Communists that Willie just can't seem to spot. And Willie was our smartest president ever before Obama came along. But he's got a blind eye for commies. Even the ones that frequented the White House when he was running for reelection.

The only winner in all of this is Obama. Clinton is helping Obama win. Just like Walker beating the recall...the only winner is Obama. If Romney wins the election, you guessed it, the only winner is Obama. MSNBC told me so today. Magical thinking from the left all day today.

Tell that to the people who lost their jobs while Romney gutted their company!

certainly so long as you are willing to tell the real 11% of unemployed Americans today how great a President Obama is :).

As per OP; Clinton's apparent decision to (ahem) "Go Rogue" is fascinating. Either he really thinks he can sink Obama and win for Hillary in 2016, or he has decided he's mad as hell and just doesn't give a damn anymore. Obama is left in a catch-22. He needs to retain Clinton's nominal support, but that appears to come along with having a surrogate willing to undermine and damage the cause, and who is basically uncontrollable.

The Obama stimulus doubled the debt. His policies have successful businesses leaving the country. If he would support the growth of the economy through the private sector, or just get out of the way, the country could move forward economically.

The only depression the USA has ever had was ended by involvement in WWII. Government intervention didn't work, remember.

And how do you think this country built all those tanks, and bombs, and planes and ships? do you think somehow the money just fell out of our asses or do you think maybe the federal government spent a ton of money to "stimulate" and build the war machines?

I think the government spent alot of money buying things that then had no actual value to the economy in terms of production. I also think that the government got that money from the private sector. It didn't "stimulate" crap.

Sure, the government GOT that money from the private sector, and then it SPENT that money in the private sector (i.e. stimulus). But it's true that defense spending is among the least effective forms of stimulus (broken window theory).

EVERY time America has found itself in a bind economically, what got us out of it was government investments and stimulus. There has never been, in recorded history, a country that has pulled out of a depression by using austerity.

No doubt you have sources to confirm your assertions.

Calculated risk. The economy is on a slow recovery. If he allows the GOP to have their way, it guarantees a slow recovery. A slow recover would be a good chance to flip back to Dems.

Immediately insert race, a true sign of ignorance. Declare all from the south as racists. Declare all whites as racists. Location?: Dallas, Texas where all citizens killed JFK.

I find it really interesting that you would bring up the Broken Window fallacy...

Regardless, war spending does not stimulate the economy. You do not increase wealth by pouring resources into building non-productive assets, transporting them halfway around the world, and then blowing them up.

In the last 40 years, every attempt by an industrialized nation to stimulate an economy through increasing transfer payments (spending) has failed.

However, several nations including our neighbor to the north DID stimulate flagging economies by cutting spending and reducing the burden of governance on the private sector.

And I have... the trouble is... he then went back to being against free trade as a president, until just recently when he's been facing attacks from Republicans over his lack of free trade agreements with Latin American allies of ours... So suddenly, what did he set out to do... exactly what his Republican opponents have said they'd do... which once again proves what Obama is about... empty rhetoric and political gamesmanship... to mask the underpinnings of his racial socialist wealth distribution platform...

I don't recall him being anti-free trade as president. In fact the only thing I recall is Obama negotiating new free trade agreements.

Meanwhile, your boy Mitt seems to want to start a trade war with China, which is a brilliant idea.

Well, you DO stimulate the economy in the short term through defense spending, as you do with any spending that wouldn't otherwise occur. It just isn't the best strategy long term unless there's a legitimate defense need that justifies it.

No he doesn't... quite spreading lies...

However, he does have the balls to stand up to them and tell them to stop violating our copywrite and intellectual property right laws and stop falsely manipulating your currency to outbid our investors... rather than bend over to them like the Clinton, Bush, and Obama administrations did...

And for that, and many other reasons that show he knows the business world, what drives growth, and what obstacles we face as a nation, he stands out as a FAR better candidate to protect our future, and revitalize a beaten economy...

(As far as these new free trade agreements, when did they occur exactly? after pressure from Republican presidential candidates... like Romney and Paul)

Bill Clinton undermining and sabotaging Obama at every chance?

Barack Obama and Bill Clinton held a joint fundraiser yesterday in New York City. During his introduction of the president Bill Clinton reminded the audience of the difference between his record and Barack Obama’s record.
“And, I care about the long term debt of the country a lot. Remember me, I’m the only guy that gave you four surplus budgets out of the eight I sent.”

So funding a war equates to government investments and stimulus? What a joke. :2rofll:

His energy policies, his social justice leanings, his social spending, his union backing, support and worldview, his handling of DOJ, his EPA regs, his ideas about the coal and oilk industries, his views on capitalism, his ideas about healthcare, banking, and regulations for both.

His foreign policy is Bush 2.0 more or less breaking almost all campaign promises he made in that arena, but his domestic policy? Not so much.

Your vagueness is very much appreciated as it obfuscates the fact you can not answer the question. To be more specific, Cap and Trade and the Affordable Health Care Acts were each fundamentally Conservative ideas. The most liberal thing Obama has done is say he believes that anyone should be able to marry anyone they want. That would once be considered a very liberal idea, but I dare say its far more mainstream today. Moreover, its only a personal statement as there is not policy behind it.

There really isn't that much Left of Obama, but as I said before, when you stand far out on the right wing, the fuselage looks very far left.

Wow... do you ever have some homework ahead of you.

The stimulus was $800B... the debt when Obama took office was about $10T... how is $800B a double of $10T?

What "successful business" has left the country? I don't think that makes sense on so many levels.....

WWII was government spending on steroids. If you think that a government stimulus can not work, but you attribute WWII from saving us from the depression, then you are a very conflicted individual.

Interesting.... you get two likes, yet I have no clue what you are talking about.

BTW. What are you talking about?
