Bill Clinton predicts strong Obama victory

Hes not going to predict a loss....can you point to any x president that has predicted a loss for another candidate from his party.

It's like the other day when I heard Condi Rice and George Shultz endorsed Romney. Duh!

Of course, Walter Mondale was famous for saying something about getting "3 out of 4" of his immediate family.

So you believe what Clinton has to say? You realize he thinks Romney and Bain was a good thing, right? Must suck to have to pick and chose from what others say, eh?

I'm happy to accept both statements. :)

i think otherwise
bill is trying to undermine Obama every step of the way:
"I think he had a good business career," Clinton told guest host Harvey Weinstein, a movie mogul who is one of Obama's top fundraisers. "There's no question that in terms of getting up and going to the office and, you know, basically performing the essential functions of the office, the man who has been governor and had a sterling business career crosses the qualification threshold."

Adding that he has "friends" in the private equity business," Clinton suggested it was dangerous for Democrats to go after Romney's record at Bain Capital—adding that in private equity, "like everything else you try, you don't always succeed" in saving companies or making them more productive.

"I don't think that we ought to get into the position where we say this is bad work," Clinton said. "This is good work."
Bill Clinton criticizes Obama's Bain attacks, praises Romney's

Bill Clinton certainly has reasons to believe that Obama will win, but I think the election's going to be pretty close, at least judging from the polling so far.

I wouldn't be surprised if some x Republican President predicted that Hoover would lose in '32, or if some x Democratic President that predicted that Jimmy Carter would lose in '80, but I haven't done a fact-check so I can't be certain.
