Will Romney's lack of intelligence hurt him in the election?

YOu must not pay much attention to the media. There were dozens of fawning articles over how smart Obumble was due to him being president of the HLR

I suspect between now and the election both candidate's "intelligence" will be questioned by even their strongest supporters. But if we cut through the propaganda, the bottom line is that a Romney presidency will benefit only the upper classes and the middle class will continue to decline. Also, why does the US have such a short term memory? What condition was the country in when Obama took office? Are we better off now... yes? When was the last time a president appeared on TV in a panic about the total economic collapse the we were heading for (Bush!!!)... who made the policies that caused the collapse? Answer: Romney-like Republicans!!!!!

Now they complain the Obama is not fixing their mess fast enough? Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!

YOur claim is based on the dubious assumption that handouts and dependency help the lower and middle classes and not taxing the rich more and more hurts those two classes

clinton-glass steagall repealed in 99,clinton and a bipartisan congress repealed the regulations put in place after the great depression to prevent another one.
just search in google who caused the economic crisis,and i bet you can find if your looking blame that goes all the way back to lbj and nixon.

I'm not remotely conservative, and I agree with this post. Romney has many faults, and I'm fairly certain he's going to lose the upcoming election, but he's not stupid.

Funny how Romney gobblers don't see the hypocrisy in their constant flogging of his report cards.
 
Given our last 2 presidents, I suspect Romney's excessive intelligence would be more troubling for his election chances.

You can say that again.

He sold the country on his governing credintials, which he didn't have. We all bought that bill of goods and now we're paying a high price for buying into his all "talk" and no "walk".

Time for a person who really does have governing skills. I'll vote for Romney in November.
 
Warren Harding, GHW Bush and GW Bush are the only 3 presidents who were major businessmen prior to becoming president (Truman was a haberdasher). Two of those 3 rank among America's 10 worst presidents (Harding ranks as worst) and GHW Bush was voted out of office after only 1 term.

None of American presidents that have been ranked as best (Lincoln, FDR, Washington) obtained office based on any business experience.

I find Obama to be a dull ego driven zero.. his lousy use of language is truly aweful.. no matter how many times Im told "its amazing"..I just dont see it.. and hes a total zero off teleprompter..
