Well - this is a fine 'how-do-you-do'. What is a good conservative to think about this little contretemps.

Anti-Contraception Cardinal Refuses to Say Romney Is a Christian

Catholic cardinal who is supporting a lawsuit against the Obama administration's mandate that all health insurance cover female contraceptives refused on Sunday to say whether presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney was a Christian. ..

There are many Evangelicals who are not happy that Romney will be the GOP presidential nominee.

Its funny watching a far lefty spewing religious bigotry.

Its expected from a far right bible thumper

Cardinal Donald Wuerl is both a "far lefty" and a "far righty"? Omnipotent!

Uh no, I was referring to the posters

a far lefty is attacking Romney based on the bigotry of someone whose lean I don't know nor care about other than he appears to be a religious extremist-and both the left ("liberation theology) and the right (Falwell etc) have religious extremists in their camps

FAIL

He might have a point, though. I want to see the long form on Romney's baptism.

While you jest, the Mormons kept fantastic records. I am sure the form can be produced :D

You aren't a conservative, just a pot-stirrer. From the article linked on your link:
During an interview on Fox News, host Chris Wallace asked Cardinal Donald Wuerl if Mormons were "true Christians."

"I never get into defining other people," Wuerl explained. "I define myself. That's one of the reasons, by the way, why we are in court."

"I don't want the president to define me so I'm not going to define somebody else."

"I never get into defining other people," (Cardinal Donald) Wuerl explained. "I define myself. That's one of the reasons, by the way, why we are in court."

"I don't want the president to define me so I'm not going to define somebody else."

Total self unawareness from the cardinal, he is "defining" himself as one who can tell others how they shall live or die, but nobody is allowed to "define" him. He is defining a woman who requires birth control medicine for non-contraceptive reasons as a person who is not equal to himself in determining their own medical needs.

His answer, in refusing to say whether or not he thinks Mormons are "true Christians", brings the President into the conversation as a nothing more than a diversion away from Wallace's question. When did the President "define" or attempt to define Catholic cardinals?
