Projecting on the Twitter stats come November it will be a close fight with Obama having the edge. At the International level most people are not interested to know who Romney is.

This sounds like a middle school argument.

Don't vote for Kimmie because she doesn't have as many followers as I do.

"close fight"?? Obama has the "edge"?? -- if twitter has any sway in a national election, Obama will trounce Romney with a samurai sword.

Judging from Twitter following?

Actually, now that I think about this, it's very telling.

People who are using twitter are what...?? Intelligent enough to own a smart phone and a computer. And they're likely organized and working. And subscribing to Obama means your engaged in the political process, interested more than the average person.

I think this could point to Obama wiping the floor with the Mormon.

Wow... that's some serious smack talk there...

R-Money better counter by calling Obama a newb, and saying how he's the real 1337 candidate... Then thank Ann for being his BFF to draw the comparison to how much cooler she is on pinterest than Michelle n00b∂m∂ is... that would be some real pwn@g3...

Next up in the useless information about the election section... who Kanye and Kim think should be president...

Just to be honest, I don't give a rat's ass what "internationals'" opinions are.

Two undecided Republicans here.

You do realize how stupid that assumption is, right? The young are often outvoted by the old... This is an opinion of the young... Even middle aged people like myself dont care to get involved in twitter... Yet, for the group 18-35 obama wasn't even leading by 20 pts... Then add in that half of Obama's followers are overseas, it shows who also supports him, people from other countries, that benefit from Obama's policies... Yet, even despite Obama's huge advantage in number Romney is putting the hurt on Obama in swing states (which the moron who made the map couldn't distinguish between Virginia and West Virginia, so their opinion on who is elected is very minimal imho)... So if anything this is a huge cause of worry for Obama...

However, I still stand by my orgininal stance, this is useless info...

I don't give these stats much credence. Although they may show trends in the Twitter-verse, it really is only a very small percentage of the population that is of voting age.

Think about it:
16,316,370 - Twitter followers total between Obama and Romney.

209,279,149 - population that is of voting age, 18+, as of 2000. Which is probably more as of the 2010 census. http://www.census.gov/population/www/cen2000/briefs/phc-t31/tables/tab01-01.pdf

7.8% - the total amount of the voting population that these Twitter stats are covering. Assuming I did my math right.

So if you're judging how these men are doing by what "Twitter" says, you really don't have all the facts.

By the way, you can follow me on Twitter @Unapoloright.
