I spent 35 years in the business world and not once during that period of time did I ever see no jobs available in the work force. It may not be THE job but there were jobs and I would rather see someone working than sitting on their asses collecting a check.

People are kind enough in this country to not go Mad Max... they deserve to go mad max

This is just like the spending v revenue concept problem you have, you can't keep two factors in mind. There are jobs, but there are 4-5 people available for those jobs. Of course there are jobs, but you forgot the number of unemployed.

This claim of "running a business" does not jibe with these HUGE errors in thought processes.

if the unemployed can be portrayed as lazy then that's less initiative to blame whoever runs this economy...

If you came to me as an able body and told me you couldn't find a job in 2 years I wouldn't hire you because obviously you had no problem taking a taxpayer check vs. doing any job. I prefer hard working people than someone who can work but chooses to collect an unemployment check

Who do you think is going to get those jobs, someone who collected unemployment for 2 years or someone who worked other jobs and showed up for work earning a paycheck?

You got me there, never ran a business and was a total failure as my kids and grandkids will attest. My goal in life and yes, haven't achieved them all yet but this one is going to be hard, I want someday to be half as smart as you think you are and as knowlegeable on every topic like you are. I am amazed at how accurate your description is of everyone else including me. You are a true legend in your own mind.
