If you vote for Hussein Obama come January your income taxes will go up big time: Romney will keep the tax brackets as they are........Think about it...........

What End of Bush Tax Cuts Means for You - Yahoo! Finance

The so-called Bush tax cuts are scheduled to expire at the end of this year. While you may already know that, you may not fully understand what's in store for you and your family. Here's what to expect.

Higher Tax Rates for All

You may think only individuals in the top two brackets will face higher federal income taxes if the Bush cuts go bye-bye as scheduled on Jan. 1, 2013. Not true. Unless Congress takes action and the president goes along (whoever that is), rates will go up for everyone -- not just "the rich." Specifically, the existing 10% bracket will go away, and the lowest "new" bracket will be 15%. The existing 25% bracket will be replaced by the "new" 28% bracket; the existing 28% bracket will be replaced by the new 31% bracket; the existing 33% bracket will be replaced by the 36% bracket; and the existing 35% bracket will be replaced by the 39.6% bracket.

Obama said he would do that last time too. Didn't work out that way.

If the tax cuts are supposed to be permanent, why did Bush and the Republican Congress who passed them in the first place set them to expire?

And again you are calling Obama beautiful. You two should get a room.

After all his lies you still believe Hussein Obama huh? Hussein has nothing to lose if reelected and he wants your money............Yahoo News hardly a right wing spokesman disagrees with you big time......

Apparently Navy is giving magical powers to the president, giving him the ability to levy taxes...

Navy I don't see the Congress shifting all that much... perhaps even further Republican which means Obama will have to compromise with them and one of those things will be tax cuts because at the end of the day Congress, not the president has the power to levy taxes.

Didn't say I did. I tend not to believe any politician, which is why I said what I said about what he said 4 years ago. It seems you're the one taking his lies seriously.

He doesn't have dictatorial powers, and if Republicans retain Congressional power it won't happen anyway.

Still though. The expiration put on them by Republicans in the first place makes me wonder if they planned on them staying in force forever. Methinks they just wanted a club to beat Democrats with. I hate when laws are made to score political points at some future date.

If you knew anything about the Bush Tax cuts you would know that the president does have to do anything for the Bush tax cuts to expire...........Please do your homework my left wing friend before you open mouth insert foot......thank you

If only Obama COULD eliminate the Bush tax cuts for all, what it would mean is that we would have a fighting chance to get our debt situation under control.

First of all, Democrats had control of the Senate for 4 out of the 8 years during Bush's tenure. And the majority was very small, 2 seats for 2 years and 6 seats for 2 years. During the 2001 and again in 2003, 60 votes were required to get the bill through. Opted for a reconciliation bill which made the tax cuts valid for 10 years.

well at least as far to the left as your are you have some doubts..............I can tell you that there is no doubt that if Hussein Obama is reelected he will let the tax cuts expire and veto any move to extend them.........

Bush didn't have enough votes to make the tax cuts permanent.

If I was obama I'd veto any sort of extension of the Bush tax cuts but that's just me. I'd be like "if you bitches wanna blame me for the deficit then I'll fix the motha ****ing deficit" VETO!

Nd the very poor about 40% would be starving to death........I can't believe you Liberals want that............Right now 50% of this country pay no income taxes.....

Read the article from the left wing pub Yahoo news......

I thought you lefties cared about the poor??????

What the Bush tax cuts mean for our country=****

We need graduated tax increases across the board...from the top down and we need entitlement reform...What we dont need is what Romney and Paul Ryan and the far right teaparty wants...tax cut for the RICHEST americans and Corporations and take it off of everyone else...thats JUST WHAT WE DONT NEED.

I thought you lefties cared about the poor??????

and I thought you righties wanted everybody to have "skin in the game"?

The poor are much better off paying 5% more of their income instead of proposed drastic cuts by Conservatives to food stamps and Medicaid in the name of "deficit reduction" or in plain speak tax cuts for the rich.

Good.

I make a higher wage at my job in Minneapolis than I did when I was working in Tucson. Yet, with the higher tax rate in MN, I take home pretty much the same amount. And you know what?

Great.

Do you have any idea how much better EVERYTHING is in Minnesota? Education, health care, safety, the job market... all of it. It is SO much better. In part because we pay more taxes. Life here is just better, on every metric. If higher taxes are the price of that, fine with me.

I like living in a community that is healthy and strong, where people are safe and can pursue education. Minnesota was one of the strongest states all the way through the recession. We got hit, but not anywhere near as bad as most of the country. We take care of our people, and it takes money to do that. I'll gladly pay for it.

Oh, and did I mention that we're one of the better-off states in terms of debt? Most of the states who fare better than us have considerably smaller populations. For our size, we're one of the best-run states in the country. And that's despite the fact that a quarter of every dollar we pay in Federal taxes goes to other, needier states. Chances are, the state you live in is receiving financial help from Minnesota.

I've lived all over the country, and all over the world, and the places with higher tax rates are just better to live in as a rule. People are more able to take care of themselves and advance, poverty is less, cities are cleaner, education is better.

As a resident of Minneapolis, I must concur that this is God's country. I am hard pressed to think of a reason someone wouldn't want to live here (except for climate).

Of course, the GOP legislature seems hell bent on changing that through Constitutional Amendments.

............Right now 50% of this country pay no income taxes.....

Yet, you're so concerned about taxes going up that you're ready to raise taxes on half of the population.

Actually its pretty simple to me........If you want to pay more taxes then you vote for Hussein Obama.....If tou want taxes to remain the same then you vote for Romney... I can say this without any doubt that a Republican HOR and a Republican president will not let the Tax cuts expire

Yet, you're so concerned about taxes going up that you're ready to raise taxes on half of the population.

after watching Hussein Obama spend 6 trillion in 3 years I beleve he will do or say anything to raise taxes..

Not the legislature, the will of the people........
