Well in my book he is the lesser of two evils. And this is part of the reason why. Its pretty simple: corporations are not people and workers arent some asset!

technically obama has no authority over whether corporations are people or not.

though from my point of view and quite a few others,a businessis not a person,it is a business.i used to be part owner of an s corp, which my transmission shop was qualified under.i still cant see corporations as people, its a business entity.

He can have an opinion. Authority means zero. If you think a corporation is a human being you should take medication.

I don't speak for everyone here, but when I write down a list of people to invite to a party, I write down chris and William, not Wal-Mart and Mcdonalds.

Well I invite Tiffanies, Harry Winston, Coco Channel.....

Romney was simply stating that corporations are comprised of large amounts of people, and that raising taxes on corporations would likely have a negative effect on a majority of the individuals that comprise the company. Anyone who isn't ignorant or deliberately obtuse should have been able to decipher that.

Ehhh not so much. He just states everything that corporations earn go to people....

So what are corporations?

The answers in your question...

So if we take the people out of corporations, they'd still survive?

I'm really just trying to understand Obama's point here.

Can a corporation exercise their right to vote?

Can i send a corporation to war?
Can i murder a corporation?
Can a corporation get sick?
Can a corporation starve to death?

i never said a corporation should be a person,i said he has no authority over the subject,as unless an amendment or law is made(as the constitution does not specify)the courts hold authority over interperatation.

i personally cannot seea corporastion which is a business entity as a person, but that is not my decision,or even observation as there is no clear cut constitution rule saying otherwise.

sorta ..financially sick
sure...starved for revenue until they go belly up.

...and this changes nothing in regards to them being legal persons.

Corporations are treated as persons for legal reasons.
If you wish to eliminate taxes and a host of other legal considerations concerning corporations, then by all means, change the law.

Corporations are groups of people united by a common interest. They occur throughout the western world and are quite common, large and small.

That anyone would try and make their existence an election issue is an indication of the economic ignorance rampant in too much of the western world today.

Can a corporation exercise their right to vote?

That wouldn't be such a bad idea. It would likely be a vote given more intelligent thought than those cast by the brainwashed masses.

Really? It changes nothing? Because a person i thought was a human being...
