New evidence of Romney's hardship while on Mormon mission to France[W:3]

Did you bother to look at the date of this dead thread?

A recent story came out about a former 7/11 employee who recalls a ten year old Romney taking an extra quarter of incorrect change. The 7/11 employee after realizing the mistake was shocked as he watched Romney casually walk down the street candy bar in hand fully knowing that he had an extra quarter in his pocket. What kind of values is Romney setting for our children with this outrageous and unforgivable behavior? Can we as a nation rally around a man with such dishonest behavior?

Source or it didn't happen.

all of our greatest Presidents (minus Kennedy) never served a day in uniform. It really does not make a difference. The military is draconian and I actually have more respect for vets with a Dishonorable Discharge than, I do for those that have an "Honorable" discharge. That just tells me that you are good at doing what you are told. If only we had soldiers and Marines that would disobey orders America would be much better off

Totally disagree. and if this stance is typical of "very liberal", I am glad I am not of that political lean.

"Cogs know nothing of the machine"

You are the COG, of the glass ceiling, we need more victims so we can take your freedom liberal nanny state machine..

it didnt happen...like any clerk would know 50 years back who a 10 year old was...LOL...but of course when nobody in college can remember Obama we ar to believe, well that was so long ago...LOL

Romney had to sell stock in college to pay for elevators for his Astin Martin collection. That dude is so in touch.

Romney's puppy was wimpering from cold and so annoyed was he that Romney dragged it behind his SUV for 500 miles.

God lord...what does this incoherent babbling mean?

And what would a poor person know about capitalism and building wealth?

That building wealth through capitalism has side effects, structural poverty, exploitation and the creation of and calcification of a de facto caste system.

Well thankfully Bush answered the call to serve.....oh wait.

pesky facts.. he actually did.. he was in the National Guard and flew for us and begged to get the extra hours of air time so he could fly for the Navy.... so even though Mapes and Rather tried to phoney up fake docs to say otherwise.. the facts are that GWB did serve his country and never did anything to the contrary..

Now Barry,, he used lots of drugs and was a stoned out loser.. who wrote books of how his daddy left him.. oh the sobbing..

so you voted for McCain right? he served and was a HERO... so Im sure you voted for him..right?

Let's be honest, you are more likely to die from tripping over a rake and jamming a gallon of bleach into your gullet and swallowing it as from Air National guard service. The actuarial table position is somewhere between the department of motor vehicles photographers and court stenographers.

Well, I believe he proudly donned the uniform of a postal employee or somesuch, but on the other hand he did go unaccounted for for about 6 months for which no pay record exists. There was a coke trail leading to FLA.

But Hatfield quotes “a high-ranking advisor to Bush” who confirmed that Bush was arrested for cocaine possession in Houston in 1972, and had the record expunged by a judge who was “a fellow Republican and elected official” who helped Bush get off “with a little community service at a minority youth center instead of having to pick cotton on a Texas prison farm.”

Hatfield quotes a former Yale classmate who told him: “George W. was arrested for possession of cocaine in 1972, but due to his father’s connections, the entire record was expunged by a state judge whom the older Bush helped get elected. It was one of those ‘behind closed doors in the judges’ chambers’ kind of thing between the old man and one of his Texas cronies who owed him a favor … There’s only a handful of us that know the truth.”

"Among the questions Bush had to answer on his [National Guard] application forms was whether he wanted to go overseas. Bush checked the box that said: 'do not volunteer.'"
