GOP Newsletter Calls for Armed Revolution if Obama Re-Elected

..What it should do is to show some people that there is a growing discontent with the way the US Government runs and that people are starting to realize that voing may not be the best, or even the only way to deal with that.

abandoning democacy in favor of violence, is called terrorism.

I read commentary like the OP and I cringe! But I'm also disgusted. And a bit fearful.

Look, we're a nation that talks big about spreading democracy and how our democratic way of governance is so much better than the rest of the world, but then you read crap like the comments from the OP. If folks don't stop to ask themselves what makes such people who make such outlandish statements any different from the radical extremist from abroad who insist that citizens take up arms to overthrow their government, maybe it's time you start. For how has our government truly harmed its citizens? More specifically, how has THIS government harmed the citizens of this country?

Has the government turned its gun, its military might against the people?

Has the government seized your property?

Has the government imposed unfair taxes on the populace?

Has the government imposed marshall law in an effort to hold the citizenry at bay?

Has the government limited free speech?

Has the government limited your travels?

(It should be noted that by "government", I'm referring specifically to policies imposed by the Obama Administration itself that has done any of the things mentioned above.)

And what, if any, of the above policies that have been imposed cannot be overturned with the next presidential election OR better yet by changing the makeup of Congress and communication to this duly elected legislative body to change the laws accordingly?

Let me put it to the readers as plainly as I can: Those who relish the notion that armed violence is the way to change the U.S. government when your government has done you no harm really does need his head examined.
