Does Mitt Romney lack the empathy needed to be Commander And Chief?

It's a well-known scientific fact that one of the telltale signs of one who lacks empathy is a cruelness to animals. Considering the well-known story that Romney put his dog on the roof while driving a long way, how else am I to interpret it? He supports the Paul Ryan social Darwinist budget and seems to have zero connection with Americans struggling in our capitalist system.

George W. Bush once spoke about character and being the president. Well people need not be so quick to pass off meanness to dogs as being meaningless. Do you want him commanding our nuclear weapons and running the entire economy?

I can't imagine anyone worse than Obama (except maybe Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid) having that authority.

Mitt Romney has done many other things to help people in need...

When Romney was in California, for a fundraising event, there were wild fires that were threatening people's homes... Romney skipped the fund raiser, and went down with his sons to dig up a tree to remove it from the fire line to prevent the loss of the homes....

He has also donated millions to charity... mostly to his church... which is well known for its humanitarian efforts...

If you don't think Mitt Romney is a caring and compasionate man, you really don't have a clue what you're talking about...


In fact, this is a behind the scenes look at Romney taking compassion on an issue off camera, to bring up the situation of wildfires in TX with Rick Perry, who had come out to a debate in CA...

Romney isn't asking as a publicity stunt, this was before the cameras were on...

He sees problems and wants to solve them...

Hence... saving the businesses he worked for, saving the olympics, saving the state of ma... and hopefully he can save washington

A person doesn't need to be empathetic in order to perform the job of POTUS. However, this quality is needed to be elected POTUS in the first place. And to that end I don't think Romney will pass the test. I think he has a problem relating to common people.
 
His dog probably turned his nose toward the wind and loved every minute of the ride. Dogs do that.

So you are trying to tell me that our President should not be empathetic? He should just be a hard nosed leader who doesn't care about anyone but himself? I have a hard time believing you are liberal, much less intelligent.

I guess the "dog eating" thing attributed to President Obama has you saying things about his "lacks empathy is a cruelness to animals", yes?

We are at war. Romney has to pick one. Does he want to be Commander or does he want to be Chief? He can't be both. :lol:

I'm sure Mitt Romney will chose a running mate which will bring together the Republican Party and bring in the Independents.


As for me, anyone but Obama. He, IMO, hasn't the credentials for the job and he's proved it over the last 3 years. We elected someone that could talk really well, but had no "corporate" knowledge to do the job.


Romney will pick someone that will help him win the election, I'm sure.

We elected a person with no ability, experience, knowledge to be the leader of the US. He "talked" folks in to voting for him and we were all snookered. He was not a "Mr. Smith goes to Washington". He was a raw young 2 year Senator with no capability.

He didn't and still doesn't have the skills to run the most powerful country in the world. He probably was a great community organizer, but that does not equate into the POTUS.

We, as a country are in deep trouble, IMO, and we don't have time to deal with President Obama learning thru OJT.

You see this where you Libbys cut your nose off to spite your face. It's this I'll hold on to my guy and go down with the ship, no matter what. Well I'm not ready to deep six the country for an inept leader even though I may be of a certain political ilk.

Romney has the skills and the abililties to run this country. President Obama just doens't have it.

What about capitlism? I love capitalism and it's what makes this country what it is today. Without our form of capitalism we'd be another 3rd rate country struggling to provide the essentials to the masses.

Are there "some" who've stuck to us, yup. You find them and send to jail. What you don't do is through out the baby with the bath water.
