To be fair, we should take away Obama's etch-a-sketch and Romney's teleprompter as well. Might not go so well, Romney does not do well when speaking off the cuff.

I'm not a birther and I think that Obama's promoted speaking ability was generally centered on a passionate reading from teleprompters. Off the cuff, he has a great many 'uhhs," which is perfectly fine. Many of the brightest minds in the world use "uhh" and "ah" frequently. It just doesn't sound smooth.

See, this is again the problem. Birthers and telepromptergate are two different psychosis. Niether has a basis in reality, but one can easily be one and not the other.

OK...forget about the teleprompters and just go with the blatant lies and hypocrisy...the whole 'fair' argument...and the Romney is rich argument (where was that when Kerry was running...and for that matter...Obama...he's pretty well off...right? Arent most democrats) and the whole "Romney doesnt pay taxes" shtick (again...what was Kerry's tax rate? Or for that matter Obamas?) or the "Romney would send jobs overseas" argument (how many green jobs and other recipients of stimulus cash are sending jobs overseas?). Basically...EVERY issue that is being raised. Lies and hypocrisy...oh yes...its going to be a fun election cycle. And you wonder why some of us vote third party.

No, for a better government. A government for the people, not a government for the 1% or a government for big business.

We may pay a bit more taxes but we get much more in return for those taxes. As long as my government was worth it's money, who cares how large it is. I am pragmatic in this subject. I do not have a political agenda for a big or a small government, I have a pragmatic opinion that the size of the government should fit it's purpose. Too small and it will not be able to do what my countries thinks a government should do and too big is bad because then it is ineffective and a waste of good tax payers money.

How can you be sure the man would ever be a good president? What does he stand for? I don't know. I know that what he says now is no indication to what he will think in 2 days or what he will do in a week. Etch-a-sketching is fine if the person doing it has an actual personality instead of Romney's chameleon personality.
 
I'm not voting for Romney so it isn't my problem if he flip flops or not. I will vote for Obama but you have to use a fine tooth comb to look at what is bull****, and what is reality. You also have to have that basic understanding of how the United States government and all of it's branches as a whole works.

If Ron Paul were president about 30% of what he wants or promised would actually happen. The rest he can only influence as much as possible.

how does a dog climb into a roofkennel all by itself? Is it that normal for a dog that is 60 to 70 pounds and 25 to 27 inches tall at the shoulder, to climb in a roof kennel all of it's own?

Also, how did the poor dog survive in an airtight kennel? And how do you know, if you are in the car and the dog is on top of the car how his ride is?
 
Of course Romney is no moderate. For the simple reason that Romney at his core is nothing. Romney makes Clinton's waffling look principled.

It's amusing to watch a candidate who donated money to Planned Parenthood and tried to get their endorsement during his governor campaign say that he'd cut all funding for them.

Romney will do anything, say anything, and buy anything to win the presidency. Gringrich was entirely right when he said that if Romney could buy the presidency he would.

This is why everyone laughs at you dd. You make such over the top and broad generalizations that aren't even remotely accurate. Obama is not a great speaker without his teleprompter. It's like watching a deer in headlights when it screws up. Is he a better speaker than Bush without a teleprompter? I'd say that he's a better speaker without a teleprompter than Bush was with one, but just because someone can see the obvious regarding Obama and his need for a teleprompter doesn't make someone a birther too. But do carry on, you make me laugh with every one of your posts.

That's nonsense. Obama smacked around his Dem opponents and McCain in the debates with no teleprompter in sight. He also does very well responding to press questions. The teleprompters BS is right in the birther/mormon/socialist wheelhouse of right wing blather.

which is why i made sure to detail the difference between partisans and ideologues. ideologues give greatest weight to ideas, to beliefs. partisans seek whatever will benefit their faction.
