Surprise LA Vote: Santorum crushes Romney 50%-26%. Gingrich disappears: 15%. Paul 6%!

Re: Surprise LA Vote: Santorum crushes Romney 50%-26%. Gingrich disappears: 15%. Paul

The mantras of losers...

"The election was rigged!" "The media is bias!" "The voters are being tricked!"

and the USA will sink into the abiss of hell if their candidate doesn't win.
Ignorance at the top creates ignorance below. Copying the English of the no-talent brown-noses who get ahead in this decadent social structure, it only follows that anyone who uses "the media is" instead of "the media are" will use "bias" instead of "biased." Learn on your own, not by copying the inferior people in superior positions in our upside-down Information Economy.

The more Santorum wins, the better the odds are of Obama winning another 4 years.
.... in early Retirement to Hawai !...

at this point I'm rooting for Santorum for only one reason, I want to live to see a brokered convention.

he is the worst possible candidate for the future of the GOP, as he draws the least independent and youth votes and will shrink the party for years to come with his style of conservatism, but man, a brokered convention will be fascinating politics.

In the moron's defense... I don't think he was copying anyone's English there. I'm pretty sure he meant the media (which in this context is a collective singular) is biased. Unless he meant the media is bias, itself... However, I think it's clear his English isn't great.

Re: Surprise LA Vote: Santorum crushes Romney 50%-26%. Gingrich disappears: 15%. Paul

So far, DC and Maryland for Romney pretty much obliterated the value of Santorum's LA win.

LA was Santorum 10 Romney 5 - Santorum +5

DC was Romney 16
MD was Romney 37
WI was Romney 30 Santorum 9 - Romney + 21

Obliterates doesn't do that justice... 80-9 on one night... +71 delegates to Romney...

Romney has 662 to Santorum's 266....

Romney has to win 43% of the delegates remaining... Santorum has to win 78% of the remaining delegates

Next up CT, NY, PA, and RI... (which should also mean a big Romney win, and more delegates)

Theres also a chance that Romney could win in PA, and thus Santorum would even have to admit that he lost...

It's not going to happen this election but you never know what the future holds for either party. You may still get to see one...I'd like to see one as well just to see how it all goes down live. I see 300 in my head but it would undoubtedly be more like Twelve Angry Men.

My dad always said there's something wrong with Louisianites.

Well David Duke got elected there too.....

Re: Surprise LA Vote: Santorum crushes Romney 50%-26%. Gingrich disappears: 15%. Paul

And some of these issues are not related to any of the candidates. I think most people would agree that money has too much influence on politics. Ideas should influence politics, not money.
Cut it out with this crazy talk. :)

Many young people feel voting is meaningless.
I think you'd be even more right if you dropped the word 'young'.

This "collective singular" nonsense is just a cover-up for the ignorant and dysfunctional English of the people we have been told deserve to be in positions of influence. Our permissive dictionaries are no help. Our education is a fraud and should not be rewarded. Whenever I first hear one of these grammatical monstrosities in the media, it isn't long before it infects the language of the public. Are you afraid to attack people we are told to look to for guidance? Anyone with a real education can see that we are elevating mediocre people into superior positions. Also, that they are one big clique. The babblers on Leftist Pacifica use the same new language errors that the Right-Wing talk-show nannies do.
