At the very least hes a socialist, like much of america. He beleives in govt redisribution of wealth towards social equality, and govt control of industries. Thats basic socialism. Look at his american dream movement. He focuses on lower class workers, unions, and how they should be invloved with their industries policies. He focuses on unions, and taking from those with capital and giving it those who dont have it. The fact that this has become common in the US doesnt make it any less socialist. It just makes socialism a popular idea. What I dont get is why they run from the word.

Well, Pat Buchanan worked for Nixon and Reagan. I question a lot of his views.

Pretty vague. Sounds like something Bush would have said on 9/12. In fact, most Conservatives on this board have ripped into Obama for being a "divider" and not a "uniter" at some point. If you want to call every Conservative on this board a "socialist"....well I wouldn't spend much time here.

Maybe the guy is a socialist. You haven't proved it with any of that.
