Palin backs Gingrich, leaves door open for herself - Yahoo! News

Although it would be an unlikely scenario, Palin said she might consider throwing her hat into the ring if pressed.

She was asked specifically what she would do if the Republican party faced an open convention this August -- meaning none of the current candidates would have sewn up the nomination by then -- and someone asked her to stand.

"Anything is possible. I don't close any doors that perhaps would be open out there, so no, I wouldn't close that door. My plan is to be at that convention," she told CNN in her hometown of Wasilla, Alaska.

The Republican party's 2008 presidential nominee, Senator John McCain, picked Palin as his running mate before losing to Democrat Barack Obama.

She was ridiculed abroad, notably for foreign policy gaffes, but became a Tea Party leading light and media pundit, lashing out at big government and the "lamestream" media as she and her family basked in the celebrity spotlight.

Am I wrong for wanting her to run? Yes Palin, please push your followers towards an open convention. I'd like to see you go up against Obama.

Palin is such a goofball, she is funny. I hope someone asks her about "Paul Revere's midnight ride" is again...

"He who warned uh, the British that they weren't gonna be takin' away our arms, uh by ringing those bells, and um, makin' sure as he's riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be sure and we were going to be free, and we were going to be armed." ~Sarah Palin

It's almost as funny as Obama's 57 states.

isn't palin a bit late to the party? the primary season is well under way.

Poor girl is so desperate for attention she even agreed to talk to the "lamestream" media.

That was funny as well. They are all funny...much like Rick Perry on the voting age: “Those who are going to be over 21 on November 12th, I ask for your support,” Perry said, eliciting a few chuckles from the crowd.” Those who won’t be, just work hard. Because you’re... counting on us.”

As much as it would mean a sure victory for Obama, whenever Sarah Palin speaks as a failed Governor and/or a candidate, she just makes us all look bad to the outside world. What does it say about us that someone as unqualified and intellectually lacking as her was the Governor of a state? It says we elevate the superficial over quality. She should just quietly go away. We need to get back to the "best and the brightest".

The GOP has done so much damage to our National image. Attack Iran? What about Switzerland while we're at it...?? Oh, the stupidity...

She's just butthurt because people stopped paying attention to her.

Except One is a misspeak (like "....putting put on your family..." was from a previous president); the other is ignorance. Hopefully you get the distinction.

What ever you do....don't research this subject.

General Gage received instructions from Secretary of State William Legge, Earl of Dartmouth, to disarm the rebels, who were known to have hidden weapons in Concord, among other locations, and to imprison the rebellion's leaders, especially Samuel Adams and John Hancock.

Revere did not shout the phrase later attributed to him ("The British are coming!")...most of the Massachusetts colonists (who were predominantly English in ethnic origin) still considered themselves British. Revere's warning, according to eyewitness accounts of the ride and Revere's own descriptions, was "The Regulars are coming out."

Revere was captured and questioned by the British soldiers at gunpoint. He told them of the army's movement from Boston, and that British army troops would be in some danger if they approached Lexington, because of the large number of hostile militia gathered there.

I noticed Santorum has started using his dead daughter as a political prop (his sons were wearing pins with her name or something), just like Palin did with her son.

"Look at us, we didn't abort."

That was your CHOICE, morons.
