Santorum lose with facts, in an odd way. Fact check anyone?

It may not be that shocking, but I really don't know why Santorum thinks this is a good strategy, or why it would work on ANYONE.

Just thought I'd ask. ;)

Going to college... bad.... soooo bad.

Going to college... bad.... soooo bad.

That is a the message, and often it seems like a message that works for republicans. And while I know some will say that isn't what they mean, I argue that is exactly what they are really arguing. It confuses me why this works at all.

My favorite part is:

1) The dogma of the republican party is that if you are poor, you deserve it.
2) If you are poor, you didn't work hard enough and should have received higher education.
3) However, there are too many people getting higher education.

Aka, the republican party thinks there should be less people getting higher education, ergo more poor people, and that those people deserve to be poor. The party of no solutions, I tell ya.

I wonder how many people reason these messages out?
