Sarah Palin says she is "game" for another run for office

Fox News analyst Sarah Palin hinted Wednesday that it is not too late for her to get into the Republican presidential contest.

Asked in an interview if she would be interested in jumping in the race if there is no clear winner by the time Republicans gather this summer for their nominating convention, Palin said she would "do whatever I could to help."

Fox Business interviewer Eric Bolling asked about the possibility of a so-called "brokered convention" in Tampa, Florida, in August -- a scenario many consider unlikely.

Palin told Bolling she thinks "it could get to that," and if it does "all bets are off."

The former Alaska governor, who has made no secret of her distrust of Romney and desire for a more conservative nominee than the former Massachusetts governor, reiterated her desire for the nominating process to play itself out.

The Black Knight rises again.

I hope not... Maybe she's just craving the spotlight.....

I would make the joke about "If she's game, somebody might shoot her", but that would be in bad taste, so I won't.

Oh nuts.............

Yep, just what the Republican's need. Maybe John Ensign could be her running mate. What a joke this party has become.

Perhaps she should make another run at the Alaska governership -- finish what she started....

Does this mean I have to upload an album of all my "I Hate Palin" images here? That'll take me hours.

What an attention whore this bitch is....she's the Kim Kardashian of the GOP and I agree, the party has gone to hell if she is even remotely considered as a candidate.

Who next? David Duke?

Sarah would be my number one choice to emerge from the August GOP Convention as the official nominee. I would consider it as Christmas arriving in the summer. I will even send her five dollars if it will help.

Now we are at odds.

En guarde'!

sorry, but look for something else as a gift
jeb bush would be the nominee of a brokered convention
then, Obama's re-election would no longer be a slam dunk

It would be very difficult for any new candidate to beat Obama. They would have to build an entire national campaign infrastructure, and raise funds, from scratch, just as Obama was cranking up his in-place, billion-dollar election machine.

I don't think that America will embrace or even consider another Bush for a least a decade.

that surname is one of his few negatives
there are lots of republicans looking for a candidate they can actually support
kind of like many democrats when al gore and john kerry appeared to be heading the ticket
Obama has lots of negatives, some actual and others fabricated
this is his race to lose if the republicans are unable to find someone the republicans can have reason to show up and vote for
jeb bush might be that person

Someone is missing the spotlight.

funding jeb bush's campaign would be chump change to the many billionaires who would profit from another republican regime
and the citizens united ruling makes it easy for the big money to contribute big money to the race
Obama has had his chance to clean up dubya's mess, and he has done a weak job of it
the American public would be willing to look at another prospect to have a go at it if he could only pass the smell test. unlike those now in the primaries, jeb bush could potentially be that person

Heck what's the big deal with adding another crazy to the mix?

The last political move she made was quitting her job. Since then she's just been a traveling "author" and speaker to people who are oblivious to the real world and any sort of rational political thought.

In other words, she's a white female Obama - except that instead of receiving a Nobel Prize she didn't earn, she just goes around and hocks mediocre books on some brainwashed folks.

Sarah Palin's best bet would be to remain on the sidelines. She'd get creamed if she tried to jump into the race. People would ridicule her jumping into the campaign as a publicity stunt. But even if she's given credibility, they'd still question her dedication by bashing her for quiting her Alaskan governorship. I can hear it now:

Palin: "Yes, I have more executive exerience than Barack Obama."

Obama: "Yeah, but you quit on your people. And if you'll do that in the largest state in the Union, what makes people think you won't give up when the chips are down, the going gets tough and you won't go all Nixon on the nation?"

And we haven't even begun to address how she'd reconcile her argument against crony capitalism with her "bridge to nowhere" and "earmarks" her state received while she was governor.

Sarah Palin's best bet is to just stay out of this 2012 presidential race. Her gaffs, inability to turn down federal dollars as her state's leader, and the fact that she quit will all be thrown at her hard! She can't win.

Every time she says this in public, she makes another million dollars. Somehow, people haven't figured out the pattern.

I just keep praying that her 15 minutes of fame (which is already in overtime) will finally end and we can stop hearing about her. She has nothing to contribute: nothing original to say nor any real insight. She speaks entirely in cliches and soundbites. Frankly she is just a loud bore. She is the the guy that had too many beers at the party and really should be going home, but just keeps hanging out (because he is having fun)...

Exactly. She knows she would not be the nominee at a brokered convention. She's keeping her face in the spotlight so her speaking fees stay high.
