With less than two weeks to go here, there seems to be precious little enthusiasm for this primary race. Even on days when I work in the state capital - normally a hotbed of political activity filled with political junkies - this is simply not exciting anyone but those paid to be involved. Michigan could see a record low turnout for this thing.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

Is this the same rally yyou went to? Santorum on the elite snobs that want to control you » The Right Scoop -

This GOP race has been about as predictable as the effects of ultra-violet radiation emmitted from hyper-novas on gas giants.
After the havoc that I’m gonna wreak
No more words will critics have to speak
I’ve got the answers to the tangled knot

The best I could find. I am no Satorum fan, but it seems like a reasonable argument.

Hail to the King baby!

WHO SPEAKS FOR THE 54,000,000 INNOCENT HELPLESS BABIES WHO HAVE BEEN BUTCHERED IN THE WOMB SINCE ROE V WADE WAS PASSED IN 1972?

Romney has hurt himself greatly here because of his remarks and position he took on the government help for the automobile industry.
In addition to that, a recent survey found that 2/3 of Michigan residents DO NOT THINK of Romney as a Michigander. He is trying to reverse this and his ineptitude shined through in a TV ad produced in which he bragged about Michigan and his love for it with childhood memories of it while he looked out over New York in the scene.
His money and Santorum attacks could win the day for him here just like it did in Florida. But ten days out and there is simply precious little enthusiasm here for this primary.
