ive been searching the polls today to see where the candidates stand in south carolina, really frustrated because almost all of them were taken pre iowa caucus shown and the new ones which take alot of searching are completely iffy.some polls show mmitt romney with an absolute lead and others show him at only 2 point lead taken around the same day.why is it between the many polling agencies iowa and newhampshire were someone close between results but north carolina shows large difference between many polls taken at the same time.is it that romney isnt a sure fire that poll results arent rarely mentioned or is it that the state is too unpredictable to accurately give an average.

its just making my head spin trying to figure them out,but maybe i just suck with google so if anyone had good poll results show the date it was taken and who polled.

SC is a open primary but some polls may have it only register republicans. So it can be a bit dishonest and the variable changes.

But I think it'll likely be those two in the top while Paul/Sant fight it out for 3rd unless something major happens before the SC primaries.

Take it easy and drink some hot coco. :2wave:

Romney has a pretty good lead across all polls, with between a 5 and 14 point lead in polls of likely voters in the most recent polls. That is far from a safe lead, but for Romney to not win at this point would be pretty shocking.

actually the stuff likemfive and fourteen point lead is what im talking about.thats 9 point difference on just the front runner, its too early to get true results from the recent debates but that much of a jump is rediculous, also paul santorum and gingrich are in a three way stuggle depending on the polls, ive seen some showing gingritch 2 points behind romney and another on the same day showing him 15 points ahead.paul and santorum are fluctuating so wildly i just cant even say where they stand,i guess thats my whole point is why they arent all close like the polls in the other 2 states.
