Mitt Romney = John Kerry

Is that how you got your Silver Star?

I never claimed to have a silver star nor did I shoot a wounded unarmed VC teenager in the head to earn one and then put in the paperwork for my own award

that's really stupid

Romney actually had a successful private sector career

He didn't get his money by marrying rich widows

and the didn't get turned down by Harvard Law School
MIttens experience in the private sector is as a Vulture capitalist. He likes to fire people.

In his defense, there's nothing wrong with firing people if that's the decision that makes more economic sense.

taking things out of context aren't you? I realize the extreme left hates economic success but lets be a bit more honest

Flip flop or not Romney would still make a far better president than Obama.

so would a dead hamster or a peterbilt flattened armadillo

They are actually very much the same. This is the biggest difference between 2008 and 2012. Nobody that had voted for Bush was ever going to vote for Kerry. It's not a real stretch to vote for Romney if you had voted for Obama.

Romney is pretty bland. Not offensive. Kerry is an arrogant prick.

So you and Kerry have something in common ... except for the fact that he served his country and you didn't.

Kinda like Bush eh? Who hasn't served? Obama

Yeah it taken out of context, still it's a stupid for a candidate to say such a thing. Gov. Perry had a downloadable ring tone mad of him saying it.

When John Kerry said, "I voted for the 87 billion, before I voted against it," it was taken out of context as well.

you have no clue about me-as usual

I dunno about the comparison made but I think the end result for both is same (general election).

There is one difference. I'll probably vote for Romney if he's the nominee.

bull **** obama isnt getting re elected

Are you kidding? Romney is the very definition of an arrogant prick.

Democrats have nothing to worry about, the re-election of Barack Obama is a sure thing.

Mitt Romney IS John Kerry.

Both hail from Massachusetts.
Both are progressives
Both are wafflers/ flip floppers

Both are tall, skinny, and lack personality.
Both speak in monotone.
Both are progressives.

Neither has a sense of humor
Neither has their party's base excited
Both are loved by the "establishment"

Both are highly educated
Neither connect with "regular" people
Both are tall, skinny, and lack any personality

Both have really weird hair

Oh yeah, and both are progressives.

Romney is Kerry... Kerry is Romney!

Romney IS Kerry.... Kerry IS Romney!!

:lamo

hillarious you assume selective reading is rampant among people so you repeat multiple times!though im sure many people saw the same long ago, people just seem too scared to vote for who they want and are more concerned of voting who they think others will vote for,a large flaw because beating obama does no good if you elect someone whos really no different than him

Well for one, it was meant to be humorous, but that was lost on you...

And then on a serious note... there are quite a few similarities between Kerry and Romney. Both were selected because they were "safe" and "electable."

The left hated Bush as much as the right currently despises Obama.

Both parties, in desperation to win, shot down their more dynamic candidates in order to promote the "safe" alternative who polls so well with "moderates."

Kerry lost, and Romney will do the same.

I agree with you on this and you have shown uncanny insight. Like Kerry, Romney actually IS the best and most electable of the current crop given the current state of the nominating party. The fact that he is still going to lose says more about the GOP than Romney. They are in disarray, their message becoming more unpopular by the day and nothing they can do about it. Sort of like the Dems were after 4 years of being led around by the GOP juggernaught back in 2004. Time to regroup get a more popular message than "trust the rich" and try again next time.

Kerry was a "safe" choice to run against an incumbent who seemed vulnerable and was hated by the other side. But he had the spine of a jellyfish and the charisma of plywood. Because of this no one was excited about his campaign and he managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I could definately see a similar fate in store for Romney.

Romney never threw a large group of Americans that did nothing except serve their country under the bus.

Oh ....you meant the swift boat liars who were completely discredited? The term "swift boating" doesn't mean what it means for nothing.

Liberals love Romney. Case in point... this guy ^^^

And why wouldn't they? Rommey is practically a Democrat.

1. He wasn't unarmed.

2. He wasn't a teenager.

3. He wasn't shot in the head. (Congrats on being the first I've seen to say that.)

4. He didn't put in the paperwork for the award.

Which is to say, you got almost everything wrong.
