It would be extremely hard for Romney to beat Obama in head to head election. Romney has just been on to many sides of various issues, this will come back to haunt him big time. Americans dont tend to elect candidates that show various opinions on major social issues at different times in their political career, its a risk.
I'd vote for a dead hamster over Obama
those of us who understand political reality realize that there are far more independents than dogmatic unrealistic far righties. A candidate who appeals to people like you tends to piss off people who don' t think that abortion is a capital crime or those who get their shorts in a wad over gays in the military or other things that have no relevance to how the nation is really run other than to those who let religion dictate political policy.
Appealing to the such "social conservatives" over issues that do not objectively affect this nation's governance only loses us the votes of more pragmatic voters who might agree with our them of less government control over the economy
I'd vote for a dead hamster over Obama
voting for third party candidates causes the dems to win
If Romney is the candidate and you vote 3rd party what you will get is 4 more years, don't kid yourself you are in essence voting for obummer
If you vote for Romney then you are getting a pro-illegal,anti-2nd amendment, pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage,pro-man made global warming fairy tale believer who will nominate liberal judges to the supreme court, you are in essence voting for for Obama.
Third party. Pure and simple. I won't vote for a Liberal, regardless of which party he is the nominee of.
The sad fact is that Obama is pretty damn conservative, as president at least.
LOL. I just spit water all over the screen as I read that, Star. Obama is about as Conservative as I am female. Not only aren't we those things, but they're pretty much the things we would least WANT to be in the entire world.
Obama hasn't been a liberal as president, he's given us lip service, but has done nothing important that we wanted.
And I note your comment on us women, it's awesome being a woman by the way
It looks like I'll be voting 3rd party this year.
He has failed to be 100% CONSERVATIVE, therefore he is a LIBERAL in all ways that make any difference.
I would rather eat a round of double-00 buck shot, thank you very much.
........you haven't seen the real obama yet......
Romney may not be as conservative as you would like but comparing him to obama is absurd and you haven't seen the real obama yet. The real obama would emerge in a second term with no reelection worries, so far it's been obama lite. Do any of you remember how we ended up with Clinton 2nd term, the "giant sucking sound" was in reality the sound of votes being sucked away from Dole. Maybe you voted for Perot too huh, some people never learn.

GOOD. Then MAYBE, just MAYBE the Republican Party would drag their heads out of their asses and nominate someone who WASN'T EXACTLY LIKE HIM!!!!!!
I voted for Perot in 1992, I didn't vote in 1996 and I voted for Chuck Baldwin (Constitution Party) in 2008. I WILL NOT support a candidate who is not a Conservative. Period.
So in essence you have a long history of getting Dem's elected to put lib judges in the courts, congratulations.
